"Joking" or not, going into the store just to take pictures and tattle on employees is ridiculous. How is the store expected to get better if no one says anything? He has mentioned before that it's not just the WWE figures that is wrong with this Wal Mart but everything. If no one complains about it it isn't going to be fixed. If you have such a problem with what he's doing you can always ignore the thread Or I can express my opinion. Which I will.

Sure you can but then you're just complaining about a guy that is making a complaint and really I feel like you can make a better use of your time

I offered the common sense advice. To get in touch with someone who can actually fix the problem... Not ignoring phone calls and tattling on employees.

I mean that's exactly the point I'm trying to make as well. I'd be very frustrated if that was my local Walmart but it's such a b*tch move to fire off spineless emails and eavesdrop on employees but not actually confront or speak to someone. And for those of you saying to ignore the thread it's hard to do so when it's updated and bumped every 2 days with the same "yup still nothing" sob story.

I commend you sir for fighting a fight which you believe in. I hope for your sake these employees clean up their act and do their job.
Keep posting, I find it entertaining. I'm so glad I don't work retail anymore, just gotta deal with the corporate bullish now.

The wal-mart near me is pretty full of basic 45 (no mankind or steamboat). The tru near me on the other hand looks like your wal-mart.

Get the Market Managers number from the service desk. I'm an Asset Protection Manager for Walmart, and can tell you that a Store Manager will fix issues in a heart beat when he gets that uncomfortable call from his boss.

Just don't go there any more, man. It's obvious they don't care. It's been several months now.

If you think that's bad, you should try living here. The last time I saw a WWE figure in a shop was 2011.
*violin plays in background*
In all seriousness though, I just buy all of my figs online these days. Maybe that's your best bet going forward?

Well, I wasn't really going to do these updates anymore, but somebody bumped the thread, so what the heck.... Which one of you did this? You're getting punched in the jeans. The fact that that we've received four months worth of updates can easily be summed up by Tommy Lee Jones. I understand it can be frustrating going to a store wanting to buy something and them not having it. Believe me, I get it, I really do. One of my Wal-Marts is very similar, and all I did was I just stopped going. And since I stopped going I've managed to get every Elite, Basic, and Battle Pack since, because there are many other alternatives and life keeps going on. If this was Ringside and they weren't stocking and not doing anything about it, then yeah updates would be cool. To constantly update the masses about a store none of us will ever be near or step foot into is just self-important to think we would need to know. I understand too there is the underlying information that you're trying to get your store proper, but after four months and no real progress I think you can pack it in.

I truly don't understand why people are getting so upset about the thread. It would be a whole lot easier to "not click on it", you guys pretty much know what it's going to be at this point.... I'm absolutely shocked that people are actually MAD about it....
I'm just sharing a public record of a major retailer that has failed to respond to multiple requests to stock this common & popular product line, & trying to make an example out of them. While I really do hope one day I'll walk in there and they'll be stocked to the brim with new WWE Basics and Elites, I'm not an idiot, but I am curious to see how long they go on ignoring their toy department, as I know they are aware of the problem.
I do have a full time job, a life, and a family - I do go into Walmart for other things, how many of you go into a Walmart or a KMart for regular supplies and don't even check the figure department? I don't just go in there to prove they haven't stocked their shelves, but while I'm in there - you better believe I'm going to check.
It's extra frustrating when Walmart continues to get exclusive products (T-Shirt Series) when the shelves look like this.
It's hard enough to find many short-packed Mattel figures, Legends, etc.... when the stores aren't willing to stock ANYTHING it compounds the problem.... one of the most frustrating things about collecting Mattel's WWE figures has been FINDING THEM. I often enjoyed "The Hunt" for JAKKS - I've found "The Hunt" for Mattels to be downright frustrating. Retail has changed a great deal in the last few years, this thread is meant to point that out.
BTW, when I update the thread, I just "edit" it so it doesn't get bumped - I figured there was no foul in updating it, as it's not being forced on anyone - you would have to seek it out or bookmark it to read the updates.

I like the thread, because my Wal-Mart is similar. I stopped collecting about 8 months ago and just recently got back into it. Now I go to Wal-Mart and they have a lot of the same figures they had 8 months ago and it seems to take a while to restock. So, keep making updates if you want to because I find it interesting. Those who don't like it don't need to click it and certainly don't need to write paragraph after paragraph about how they don't want to read it.

Those of us that are complaining about this thread and how we don't like it, is a lot like walking into a Wal-Mart only to find they haven't stocked the shelves. We keep complaining, and complaining for it to stop, yet it won't. Hold on. I'm choking on the irony.
