Personally, Just Bring It left a lot to be desired.
I remember my brother going out and buying a PS2 ($300+ in 2001) just to play it. The first two SD! games on the original PS were great, but this one was going to be the best ever with the power of the PS2 behind it. As it turned out, Just Bring It was pretty much SD! 2.5. The graphics were better, albeit slightly. The much-hyped commentary still gets joked about now simply because it was THAT bad. Even the Season Mode was underwhelming. Don't get me wrong I did have some fun with the game, but I just expected so much more on a next-gen system. All the talk about the new PS4 game coming out next month kind of reminds me of the hype for JBI.
I really enjoyed the next four titles in the series, but I seemed to hit a wall when SvR '07 came out. Everything just started feeling too familiar. Not enough had changed from the previous games in my opinion. I actually haven't bought a WWE game since.

I like to get things done. Procrastinating in any way just freaks me out. A wise man once told me "Procrastination is masturbation of the mind, and you're only screwing yourself." The answer to this thread is WWF King of the Ring. I would say the first Legends of Wrestling game (Bruno was doing Kid Kash's Tiger Driver Piledriver move!) but I traded it to my cousin for TTL Regal, Chrsitain (in the purple tights/red mesh shirt), and Eddie. The Regal and Eddie didn't have elbow joints though...

WWF No Mercy. Horrible slowdown and cheap AI. This was possibly the best ever IMO.

Just asking, what wrestling games have you played that have better AI? I've played both Fire Pros for the GBA and have been playing King of Colosseum 2 since 2009, so I know the difference between good AI and horrible AI. Bad AI is any AI in any WWE/TNA game since 2003 and good AI is Fire Pro and KoC2 (you can...EDIT the AI in these games!). In my experience, the No Mercy AI hold up fairly well compared to the Japanese games... I'm not saying your wrong, I'm just curious as to what makes good AI in your opinion.

I don't think that reverse, reverse, reverse, reverse qualifies as good AI. That's why I said it was cheap AI.
Fire Pro also has annoying AI. I'm not good with the timing so even on the easiest level in can be no fun. Easy should be easy.
But both games have a ton of awesome things about them.

Bu-but you can edit the AI in the Fire Pro games... So that's kinda on you if you don't like it. In the GBA games, if you put the difficulty on 1 then you'll stand in a grapple animation for 20-30 seconds.

I LOVED warzone and attitude! I played them for years. In fact i only got a playstation for warzone!!
Then i got a demo in a magazine for Nitro. . . By far the worst game ever.
I remember loving Attitude that much when i heard THQ was taking over dreading the outcome that turned out to be smackdown.
But how wrong was i.

The raw games on the xbox were not fun at all, which sucked because the graphics in photos blew me away. Any GameCube wrestling game were disappointing. The legends of wrestling games had such potential and was disappointing to say the least.

Im going with Backstage Assault hands down. Hated it 14 years ago and just got reminded how much it blows when my nephews got a copy for .99 cents at a used store this summer. Even at 99 cents i felt they were ripped off as i watched them play this terrible abomination. Absolutely no redeeming qualities for this game whatsoever.

The most obvious ones have already been listed.
WWF Betrayal or Crush Hour sucked pretty bad along with TNA Impact.

They are all truly fun for me. Each one is someone's favorite, somewhere. I would say though that TNA Impact leaving out the biggest of sigs/finishers of folks deterred it quite a bit.

Crush Hour was the greatest wrestling game ever created. Kane....with the twisty rockets. Fabulous. I would have to concur with anyone who said War Zone. While my first wrestling game, it was, indeed, a train wreck. I won the WWF Championship with Farooq though so, not all bad.

I can't believe anyone didn't like Attitude. I played the crap out of it. I played it a lot too. Looking back the gameplay was super wonky, but wasn't every game in 1999? haha.
