He won't stop. John Cena is a robot that Vince McMahon spent a ton of money on. It's why he can heal from injuries and is the perfect spokesperson for the company. He will never retire.

I can't wait til he's gone, only because I eagerly anticipate all of the "I miss John Cena" threads that will pop up.

When John Cena is talking about doing movies like he has recently, you know he is in the twilight of his career. Hopefully, they crank out some more Fruity Pebble shirts before he is done.

He'll retire when Roman Reigns gets more complaints online than he does.

It's not that I hate Cena or anything, but what more can the dude really do that is new? Everything he does is outplayed nowadays. He's fighting Orton in their never ending saga and another title reign will be coming sooner or later. I think WWE was thinking he is just going to wrestle for eternity.

yeah he's not going away any time soon barring a MAJOR injury Even if he got a major injury he'd still be around. He'd get a GM role or something on screen till he healed and would wrestle again if possible. All Cena has is WWE, he has been working this schedule so long he'd be lost without it, I'm sure of it.

I could see him retiring in 8-10 years from a full time schedule. My then, it should be cemented that Reigns, Rollins, and Ambrose are the biggest faces of the company. Perhaps he could agree to a part time schedule which would allow him to wrestle the big events or maybe some creative control if he loves it that much.

Well he's gonna be around well until Vince is done seeing as Vince sees Cena as the reason the world keeps on spinning. If he is still wrestling when Vince goes, depending on his age when that does happen (hopefully not soon because Vince dying, like anyone would be horrible), I imagine Hunter, Steph and other higher ups will say to him you can't keep going with the full time in ring schedule, we want you to do the part time deal for a few months a year, and keep you in an on screen role when you're not competing.

If he keeps going like he is going, I say 3 years tops. I think he needs to slow down some and take the summer off next year, so that he can come back after SummerSlam and seem somewhat fresh again. He is so stale right now that I wish he would retire right now, but I think all he needs is some decent time off and that problem would be solved (I know WWE can't afford to have him off right now though).
So again if he keeps going like he is now, I can't see his body holding up as a full time wrestler for more than 3 more years.

If he remains healthy I'd assume at least 3-6 full time. Probably still do a part time schedule after that for another 3-5? I image at some point his age will catch up to him, if nothing else in his gym routine. Blow out a knee, tear a muscle off the bone, bad back? Idk, whos to say?

When he's not physically able to wrestle anymore. Not before.

Unfortunately I give him another couple of years, I really hate to say it, but he'll end up like Edge. He'll get an injury which will force him to retire. He'll never go away. He'll be around like HBK. And it'll suck to lose Cena. The WWE will have a real difficult time rebounding if they ever lose Cena. With the whole IWC aside. Cena is the most popular ever. And I like him. I don't care for him as a worker but I get "IT". I love the charity work he does. He is at house shows, add whatever else you want. He's a good role model for kids. He's what Hulk Hogan was in the 80s and why does everyone have a difficult time accepting that??? The one thing you can bet we won't have to watch "Cena knows best" in a few years. Hogan rolled over nearly everyone he fought. So does Cena. It's wrestling 101. You need that hero who will always win in the end. It's like every Hollywood franchise. Indiana Jones will always win. John McLain will always win. Rocky will always win in the end. Etc, etc. And that's what going to happen. So you might as well stop watching now. Cause as long as he can, Cena isn't going anywhere and he'll always win. No matter how many times you scream that Ambrose should do this or that. And yea, yea to those of you who "already don't watch".

My cash is on til about 45...full time. He will be around a lot longer than that though Imo. part time will see him participate until his 50s....barring some serious injury which I certainly hope he doesn't sustain. Cena's style means he can easily do what he's doing now until he's in his 50s. Hell if Hogan didn't have such a bad back, he could be doing his routine as much as he wanted.

I think Cena could really benefit from taking a few months off so that he can come back fresh. Everybody wins, Cena can heal/relax a bit, his character will recover, fans will probably like him more and Vince and co. would be forced to come up with something to replace him.
