So with how much most people hate seeing John Cena and Randy Orton face off against each other since they've done it multiple times before, I started wondering if people back in 02-04 hated seeing Triple H and Shawn Michaels go against each other since they've done it multiple times as well. For me I don't mind the multiple rematches as long as they're good.

I dunno bout any one else, but I loved the Triple H vs HBK feud. They could have wrestle 12 PPVs in a row for all I cared.
Cena vs Orton sure beats Cena vs Rollins at HITC. Lesser of two evils.

HHH and HBK always had great chemistry and awesome matches. I didn't mind it. Orton and Cena have no chemistry and produce bad matches.

HHH and HBK didn't fight each other 50 times over a decade. They fought each other like 4-5 times in 2 years. There's really no comparison.

This latest Cena vs. Orton angle has no heat

I'm not sick of Cena and Orton and would be fine to see them go at it again. If anything, I got more sick of seeing Cena and Punk several times.

I don't think it's fair to compare the two feuds. One feud has had some of the most memorable matches of all-time, and has two of the greatest technical in-ring workers. And the other feud has HHH & HBK.

I'm not sick of Cena and Orton and would be fine to see them go at it again. If anything, I got more sick of seeing Cena and Punk several times. Cena and Punk had like 5 matches, him and Orton have had like 5 singles matches in the last year. Triple H/Michaels had two performers people always loved watching, plus they had heat with the crowd and always got a reaction. Never any boring chants, that's why it was better.

I'm looking forward to the Cena/Orton Cell match. Adding the stipulation the winner faces Lesnar makes it more exciting. Plus we haven't seen a Cena/Orton ppv match since the royal rumble and this match should be better than that. In regards to the HBK/HHH feud I don't think they had that many ppv single matches. There was summerslam 2002, Armageddon 2002, Royal Rumble 2004, Bad Blood 2004 and Taboo Tuesday 2004. I think that is all so that makes it at five.

HHH and HBK had an amazing backstory and every match added to it, plus always gave it their all.
Cena and Orton had none and was created to be the modern Rock v Austin, and ultimately fell flat on it's face (except like 3 matches).

HBK vs HHH @ Summerslam 02 & RR04 are better than all Cena vs Orton's matches put together(and Orton vs HHH too while I'm at it)

Yeah Shawn/Trips was a pretty amazing feud. I don't even hate seeing Orton vs Cena that much, just as people have already said at least give it a bit of heat.

I personally don't mind Cena v. Orton cause if I don't want to see it again, I just won't watch the match. But when it comes to them, this always sticks out to me. Go back and watch the 2011 Royal Rumble and it will tell you all you need to know about what people think of Cena v. Orton. They tried doing the "epic faceoff" spot twice, and both times got dead silence. And this was almost 4 years ago.

Not even the same thing. You're comparing two guys with insane chemistry who put on great matches every go-round, to two guys who have absolutely no chemistry in the ring that they never tried to build a great story around. Orton vs HHH was the same deal but at least they put together a great story leading up to that subpar Mania 25 match.

Triple H and Shawn Michaels, with the exception of Armageddon 2002, never really put on a match that wasn't really good. They also didn't fight nearly as much. I don't mind this Cena/Orton simply because it's better than Cena/Rollins and being robbed of Ambrose/Rollins.
I'd rather this than have Cena/Orton 17 for the WWE Title.

02-04 was a two year timespan.
02-14 is a twelve year timespan.
There's your problem.

I'm confused as to where it is you've managed to find a point of comparison.
HHH vs HBK lasted a total of two years on and off and they had fantastic matches every time they went out.
Cena vs Orton has lasted 12 years so far on and off and they always ALWAYS have bad matches.
How is this even a discussion?
