It might not make any sense, but at least it gives us something to complain about, so it's not all bad!

I can't wait till Cena and Orton retire and Vince/ Hunter have to scramble to find anyone to carry the ship. Fixed. NXT is doing wonders for HHH's reputation down there. He's doing a fantastic job. I think Vince is the one who's steering the ship towards failure. I never thought I would say this, but I can't wait until HHH takes over. NXT has already developed many stars such Neville, Kidd, Zayn, Breeze, Charlotte, The Ascension, and even Enzo Amore and Big Cass. Many more such as Devitt, Kenta, and Steen are rising stars too.

The only good thing that will come of this is Orton vs Lesnar, unless CENA WINS LOL.

The problem with NXT is that it has a few potential main eventers but by the time they hit the main roster, over half will be ruined by Vince. You can bank on that. A lot of NXT is mid card for life gimmicks and jobbers, I can't see anyone besides Zayn and Devitt becoming anything more than an IC champ. Breeze will be 2015 Fandango, thanks to Vince, Kidd has already had a chance and that amounted to nothing, Acension will come up and dominate before getting lost in the stale tag division, and divas are screwed from the time they sign the dotted line. I can see Enzo being a Road Dogg like character, and that would be fun but I just can't see Vince letting him and Cass stay together for long. People love to call me negative and repetitive, but I'm not making this crap up, it's been happening for years, top talent potential being buried for silly reasons because of Vince's feelings. Triple H has stepped down his ego a lot, but I have no doubt he'd still put his boys over every single up and comer if they asked. I want to look forward to the future, I really do but I don't think Trips and Steph have what it takes to run a company, running a developmental territory that has everything done for him is much different.

Maybe I'm getting older and losing the "magic" feel of wrestling I dunno...but I just don't see the NXT guys going far. They will be successful as midcarders I think but that's it.

Devitt and Steen have the it factor it takes to main event but whether or not Vince will allow it is another story. Also, if Enzo gets better in the ring he could be a world champ contender. Also, if it were up to me, I'd say Neville could main event but I have a real weak spot for high flying, almost as much as my love for promos.

How does it make any sense? Rollins wants Orton to get destroyed by Lesnar, or Cena and Lesnar to destroy each other to set up a cash-in.

I want to look forward to the future, I really do but I don't think Trips and Steph have what it takes to run a company, running a developmental territory that has everything done for him is much different. I understand what you're saying, and I disagree that HHH and Steph do not have what it takes to run a business. Everyone I've mentioned has what it takes to become a star in their own right, the majority have what it takes to main event someday. I don't see Breeze as another Fandango. Their gimmicks are completely different. If Breeze gets called up anytime soon with his current gimmick, he'll be in the midcard, correct, but he'll eventually excel. His gimmick is original. He's the first one to do a webcam like entrance with his phone. Neville, Zayn, Enzo, and Cass all have what it takes to become stars. I agree with you on The Ascension. With all this being said, I enjoy the product NXT is giving and I hope NONE of the superstars get called up anytime soon. I've stated this in the NXT thread, but I watch NXT for the wrestling, correct storytelling, entertaining matches, and enthusiastic characters. Being extremely muscular is the last thing I pay attention to.

That makes sense, but I just don't see how being the loser of the match and then being thrust into the main event makes sense. I dunno...maybe I'm getting too old for this wrasslin talk, I feel I've just lost some of the "magic" feeling.

And remember - there is a team of people whose FULL TIME JOB is to come up with this stuff.... and this is the best they can do!
We have board members on these forums who come up with better storylines in their sleep..... it's damn frustrating that people are getting paid to come up with these illogical plots.

They made sure not to use "the looser will face Orton" as they didn't want anyone coming out of the situation looking weak, I guess they thought cena did come off looking weak and realised they had nothing planned for lesnar so made it a #1 contenders match
