For sooo many reasons. Nostalgia, convenience, and feeling bad for people needing J.O.BREEEZY'S.
I don't like this whole thing with the Breaking Bad Toys that's been going on, though. Don't let the moaners win.

Yes, unquestionably. I just went into TRU over the weekend and walked out with Jakks Sabin and Bully, Clay from SOA, Walking Dead Dwight, and Tiger Claw from TMNT. All on just a random, I have no intention of buying anything, stop.
I mean TRU is a bit over priced on some stuff but I would never want to see it go anywhere. There is plenty of stuff I still want to see at retail before I commit to buy. Add in paint issues and there are still plenty of reasons to avoid online unless the price is right. TRU and Target are my go-to for just about everything. As someone who collects a bunch of different figures, TRU is still an important stop for me every week.
Also, TRU carries a number of figures that can largely only be found at specialty stores, like comic shops, and they're usually cheaper at TRU in my experience. So that kind of thing is great and TRU is obviously willing to do stuff like the BAF sets and the Big Book figure. So yeah, I would definitely care.

I dont understand why a place of business should go out just because it doesnt have a certain item in stock. Why would they close a huge retailer because the wwe figure section isnt to the best it could be? I could understand if the overall store was always in shambles or shelves were empty all over, but a 4 foot section of a huge store that isnt stocked to your liking is no reason to close down... Where did I ever say I would want it to go out of business because it wasn't to my liking? I said that last year they had a horrible holiday season and it was predicted that TRU's days could be numbered if this years wasn't any better. Do a google search, bud.

Ya it would bother me quite a bit. It's one of the more enjoyable big box stores to just browse in even when they dont have alot of new stuff.

Um... Of course Id care. Even when they don't have good figures, it's cool to browse around and look at all the other stuff. My tru isn't always that good, but when I hit on truck days, I score. So no, I don't want toys rus to close down ANYTIME soon

I wouldn't, I love going there, but I always have online, but also we get a lot of B.A.F's from TRU, so I would be dissapointed to see that go.

Um yeah I collect a lot more than WWE dude. It's not all about WWE. There's a lot of other brands. Oh and just cause your story has crap doesn't mean other stores aren't on point. My TRU has things LONG before my Target. Stores vary bro. Don't go on about how since your store is bad nobody would care if TRU would shut down. Many people would. And you know what? Probably only 5% collect WWE. So that's not even TRU's main priority. Nothing new because no one buys figures in your area man.
Just sayin'.

Kmart is supposed to be the Mattel Wwe Headquarters but most have Jack crap at there stores I just came back to mention that exact same thing. The first year or two they had that contract, KMart was THE place to go. Now all I see are 10 framed pictures of Axel holding the IC belt and the Scooby two packs.

Nooope. I don't have one within 90 miles from me and everyone I've been in sucks. Everything is picked clean, there are toys on the floor, packaging ripped open, the bimbo chewing gum working the register who gives me funny looks as I check out when she has makeup caked on in layers....

I would miss the store. It has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. From Starting Line Ups, to GI Joe, Star Wars (Episode 4-6, then again 1-3), to WWE these days. It would be sad to see such a store go away.
Without having a physical store to go into to get merchandise, the thrill of the hunt would be gone forever. The online get is not nearly as much fun as finding that one surprise in the store. It would also mean getting stuff shipped only. So far, I would say over half of my stuff I have ordered online has come in creased or bent. It's probably the way of the future, and TRU is getting better with their online store. Maybe they will save themselves by going to more online and closing a few stores.

My nearest TRU is over an hour away so I maybe go there once a year. I buy stuff online from them multiple times a year though.

Considering how TRU is quite literally the only source of any half way decent new ish figs where i live... I'd rather they stick around.
