What do you think he'd be doing now? Would he be in the title picture with Cena and Lesnar? Would he get mixed in with the Shield? What do you think he'd be doing now?

That's such a hard question to answer because the entire complexion of Mania and onwards would have changed. Especially if he was still around when Bryan went down. Would The Shield break up still happen when it did, how it did? I have no idea and my bias won't let me fantasy book anything beyond "Give Punk the title"

His contract would have expired in July, there's a good chance he probably would have left then.
He would have faced Triple H at WM30 instead of Daniel Bryan. No idea if that would have affected Bryan's title win or anything else, we'll never know.

I recall reading somewhere that he was supposed to be Bray Wyatt's Summer program rather than Chris Jericho.

If Punk hadn't left in January, he'd still have left in July. I think they would've had Wyatt destroy him to take him out. But actually, with Bryan's surgery/time off coming sooner than expected, I could see them doing another "summer of Punk" tease -- only this time he loses the title match.

I think he would have left at July, which I would have preferred him doing if his plan was to leave.

This is one of those "what if Hogan and Bret never left for WCW" or "what if Austin didn't walk out in 2002". The world will never know. The Shield may haver never turned face and broken up, Bryan wouldn't have that WMXXX moment, and Cena will still be.......well Cena.

If I recall I belive punk was supposed to face off against HHH at WM I believe that's where it was heading I'm not sure if anything I could easily have seen him gone heel and turned on Daniel Bryan with these two facing off.

I'm sure he would've been involved in The Authority storyline for a good chunk of the year as it was already headed in that direction.

He would have faced and beat HHH at Mania, Bryan still would have faced Batista and Orton.

Gosh, who knows what if CM Punk would have stayed. Had he been booked better, he would have likely resigned with the WWE in July. One of the reasons he left was because he was burnt out, losing his passion, and how he was booked. I said this in a prior post that for most of Punk's WWE tenure, he was booked like garbage. It is hard to really answer this for a couple of reasons. One of those is who he would have feuded with after WrestleMania. We will never get a concrete answer to this.

I think about this a lot. Bryan and Reigns, too. What were the plans for HIAC with a healthy Reigns? Would he just be in Ambrose's place and Dean wouldn't have rushed back?
As far as Punk, I can't even hazard a guess. I assumed he'd be fighting HHH at Mania... Bryan would have fought Bray... Cena would fight Batista and Orton for the title. That probably would have put Punk in the title hunt... If they still did the Evolution vs. Shield thing then Cena would have been defending against Kane and eventually Brock (?). I have to think the Bryan love would have eventually gotten him a shot regardless though... maybe we'd get Cena vs. Punk vs. Bryan sometime over the summer? Idk. Maybe he'd be in Ambrose's spot of feuding with the Authority. I really have no idea.

He'd be probably be facing Cena at Hell in the Cell instead of Orton.

But...... The title of the thread is 'If Punk hadn't left?'... I read he was Wyatt's scheduled feud for the summer somewhere, too.
