No one should EVER kick out after a finisher.

It's a double standard. If they don't kickout then it's predictable but if they do then it should never happen. Plus, you don't see wrestlers finish matches enough with finishers to have suspense for non-finishing moves. You know a signature when you see one and at best you're getting a fun two-count. That's why I like stuff like Ziggler winning with the Famasser and why I still think rollups work because they shake up a finish to a match without having an actual finisher.
Last night was definitely noticeable imo. I don't have a problem with it honestly, primarily because it happened all the time back when I was watching ROH, and there were plenty of great matches. In WWE, I do think it should be reserved for PPV matches between bigger stars, so Orton vs Cena and Rollins vs Ambrose isn't something I'm too worried about.

yep, it's over utilized and has lost all real effectiveness of making a match seem epic. wrestlemania main events are almost jokes from this at this point. first place i ever saw it used like this was ecw. that said, even they had their finishes that were respected as deadly...but i can't count how many ddts got kicked out of of sandman's, raven's, dreamer's... Furthermore, why was the DDT so damn overused on ECW?

If they keep kicking out of finishers then they're going to have to bring back chair shots to the head.

And maybe not use finishers to end every match

It was definitely done far too many times last night. Made all the moves look weak and each kick out mean less.

There needs to be more selling before the pin attempt so it can protect the Finisher IMO. Very rarely should someone kick out of a Finisher with an immediate pin.

It's ok to kick out of a finisher, but it needs to be more rare, and sold a bit more. Cena and Orton were popping up right after kicking out

Taker vs HBK is the only match that I've seen TRUE, legitimate surprise out of the audience from the kicking out of finishers. That was the perfect match and I've yet to see a match that had kicking out of finishers perfected as that match did.

Like someone else said matches can be won without a finished. I know we see them on raw but ppv can have that affect to. A roll up surprise win or something along those lines. But we will see what happens. Hopefully it gets changed up a bit. Either way I'll be watching

I'd honestly be fine if some matches ended with a signature move and not a finisher. Say sheamus goes a long match where he wears his opponent down a lot. Winning with the white noise would be believable IMO if he couldn't hit the brouge kick. I enjoyed it when batista would occasionally win his matches with a spine buster.
I think this would help freshen up a lot of matches and help preserve the effect of finishers.

This has been a problem for a long time, but as a finisher goes on and on (in use throughout the years by its user) it usually gets "weaker." Which is why the AA and RKO are probably the weakest finishers in the WWE. They should fix that. Also mid card matches should almost never have finisher-kickouts. Brie and Shaemus should have been done. And its a bad sign if they are already having people kick out of the Curb Stomp. It's deliciously devastating looking; I'd hate to see it already get watered down.

And maybe not use finishers to end every match this would be nice too. How crazy and fun would it be if Miz beat Shaemus with a snap-suplex? "what?" "yeah, anything can Happen on RAW!"

Only if it is the right match and right place. Like at Mania when the Streak was alive, people kicking out after the match had gone for a good 20 minutes was one of the biggest parts of the match. If it's a huge title match then yeah. Ziggler kicking out of every single thing Cesaro did ed me off. I even started calling him Super Ziggler, ridiculous that he kicked out of that many moves.

"yeah, anything can Happen on RAW!" nah not a snap suplex, I think thats a little unbelievable, but maybe a superplex, after over a decade of watching pro wrestling I've never seen anyone take a pin from a superplex, eventhough we're supposed to believe its super impactful... I feel its too late now though to all of a sudden start getting pinned of anything other than a finish move, but maybe play more to signature moves to end matches, and Finishers for Main events, title bouts, etc

Yes I would love for people to finish matches with signature moves more often.
Ziggler- fame asser
Reigns- superman punch
Rollins- that flying knee he used to do
Cesaro- flying uppercut
