So it looks like WWE is trying to reboot Ryback and maybe regain that spark he once ignited.... Does anyone.care or think it will work this time??....I was always in the camp that they majorly dropped the ball starting with his loss to Mark Henry at Mania.....could he maybe be salvaged and start on the road to bring a main eventer or will WWE shoot themselves in the foot again?? Even though it's destined to be Cena, giving Ryback the big win over Rusev could be huge right now. Thoughts?

Yes. It is only a matter of time until he becomes a main eventer again. He just needs a big win to kick start it but he has all the potential in the world to make it happen.

I thought this was gonna be a joke like Ryfront.
I like him, thought he was stupid on Tough Enough but he redeemed himself as Skip Sheffield on NXT. Now he's great, but not used as good as he should be.

Considering the pop he got I think that if the WWE handles this properly they can easily reboot Ryback and it will be almost forgiven what they did with him the first time around. I hope Ryback gets a push towards Lesnar and the title.

I'm all for this. WWE is in desperate need of top level Babyfaces right now. Ryback has been there before and his babyface gimmick is catchy.

Crowd certainly was up for it last night. Seems like the crowd that initially was booing him, are now backing him. No more "Goldberg" chants. Hope it all works out for him this time.

Hopefully he can be the one to beat Rusev. That would certainly help to repair a lot of the damage done, and cement him as a face again.

when he first debuted, I thought he was garbage and I didn't like him at all. when he teamed with Curtis Axel to be Rybaxel, that was even worst. now since hes back, it gives him a second chance to try to be that face again. I would love to see him and Rusev go at it to build Ryback up again. even if Ryback loses, so what? it would be a great run and i'd be into him more too

I really hope it works if he gets pushed again. The crowd liked his return. The crowd wasn't as loud as they normally would have when he was over, but that could change over time. I marked out when I heard the intro "FEED ME MORE"

I think WWE desperately needs someone like him right now, and for the next several months. He has a character that easily catches on, and all they really need is a solid win (like Rusev) to get him back to being super over with the fans.
Ryback was legit back when he was a face, before the John Cena-train cut him off at the knees.
Here's the product of that lack of foresight -- they just have to do their jobs over again, in building him up, as a main event player. I said it way back then, I'll say it again. Ryback has the potential to be a main event star. Hopefully this time, they don't implode it.

I don't mind Ryback. I hope he does well. Just as long as he isn't thrown into the mix of this horrible Big Show vs Mark Henry feud.

Listen, they NEED to bring back his old theme were it just said 'FEED ME!' Really fast, the crowd reacts so much better, his current intro with the 'FEEEEED *pause* MEEEE *pause* MOREEEE.' Just drags on and the crowds over it. This might sound silly, but it need to happen so he gets a reaction.

Hopefully he doesn't choke the first time he faces a main event heel this time. Glad to see him back though, it was a fun return. His "THAN NOW 4 LIFE" singlet was quite a botch though. He needs to listen to CM Punk for a moment.

Ryback is one of the most botched characters in recent memory. People totally wanted to cheer him, they were cool with booing him too, and then WWE destroyed his credibility so much that it was impossible to care.
I actually had a spark on excitement when "FEED ME MORE" hit last night. That gimmick should have never been given up, really. I'm glad he's getting a second chance, and that the crowd seems to be on board with it.

I don't know if he can get back to being as huge as he was a couple years ago, but I hope they give him a legit shot. I know they had their plans for the WWE title locked in stone (Punk to Rock to Cena) when Ryback was the hottest act in the company, so he ended up losing steam once he started losing at every PPV. Hopefully things go better for him this time if he gets ret hot again.

I'm not a huge fan but he would make a great challenger to Rusev.
They just need to drop the outdated patriotic crap and just have people challenge Rusev so they can break the undefeated streak.
