"OH MY GOD! IT'S SMACKDOWN VS RAW! SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT WILL NEVER BE THE SAME!"I'm mind blown. A decade ago this month the first SmackDown Vs Raw game was released(It may have been October in the US) - feels like just yesterday that I was 12 years old and so excited to finally get this game. Still remember the day I got it. Played my first Season mode as Kane. It was the first SD game to have voice overs instead of just text, with the exception of your own character who was still a mute lol. What are your memories of this game? Did you like it? Do you still play it today? Attachment Deleted

Aggh, the memories with this and HCTP. I remember the amount of really bad CAWS I made in this game. From Hulk to Crash Bandicoot, I created them all.
Damn, I kinda feel old now, haha. Sadly, my PS2 doesn't quite work anymore so I'm unable to play this game. However, with the various emulators around and the low prices of PS2s today, I may soon play it again, depending on the amount of money I have to spend.

I remember playing this quite a bit when it came out. Then SvR 2006 came out and I never went back to the original SvR. The mot I remember about it now was that the caws looked ridiculous.

One thing I loved about the game, was the soundtrack. Probably the best soundtrack of any WWE game IMO.

The soundtrack was badass. I feel old. I remember my first match was John Cena vs. Batista because I felt that was a good Raw vs. Smackdown match.

I like how the intro video centered around John Cena vs. Randy Orton.
Ten years later and sh*t is still centered around John Cena vs. Randy Orton.

I've honestly never played the 1st Smackdown vs. Raw. I started the series with 2006 and continued on from there.

I still have it, but ai haven't played it since the next years came out. And I certainly don't remember who my first match was or who I used in season...but it was probably either Triple H or Randy Orton.

I love this game. I remember I bought it with my birthday money from my grandma, along with a Ric Flair action figure. This game was great. I played my 1st season with HBK. I remember the story where you had to win the ladder match by grabbing Trish's panties from above the ring.

I swear in season mode pretty much every stoyline was A Diva that needed help or something and you had to save her.I remember torrie wilson and renee dupree(I think it was him)was a couple or something and renee was treating her bad so you helped her out and then torrie ended up stripping naked and took a shower with you I remember playing that in front of my mom! Most awkward moment ever lol.

I was 17 (and a senior) at the time and I remember getting the game on release day after I got out of school for the day. I think Orton was the first one I took through Season Mode and then I used Cena. God I feel old...

Man I played the crap out of this, I believe my first go through on story mode was as Benoit, or maybe Eddie. I played through that story a million times, I played it with probably half the roster at least once.

Jeez. I don't even remember playing this game. I remember HCTP before it and having an incredible time with friends, but I actually have no memories of this one.

If you still have your PS2, you should pick it up off Amazon. You could probably get it for pennies. It's fun as hell, and the story mode is awesome. I have my PS2 still, but I don't have my copy of the game cause my neighbor offered me twenty bucks for it 2 years ago. I'm just like.. "What?! You serious?" He was indeed serious.

I have my Japanese PS2, but that won't play an NTSC version unfortunately. There are....other...ways of playing it though I might try and see.
