Ricardo helping out RVD in his feud with del rio. I thought it was pretty cool to see but they killed it after like a month.

Van Dam took time off, which was part of his WWE deal. I thought his alliance with Ricardo sucked. Del Rio and Ricardo needed each other in order for the other to work, I thought.

Better question, why did they split up Ricardo & Del Rio in the first place?

Better question, why did they split up Ricardo & Del Rio in the first place? Yeah, in the WWE Universe - everyone splits up at some point, ALL the time.... McMahon thinks that because The Rockers breakup shot Shawn Michaels into stardom - that same formula will work every time! Which, I think it would work better sometimes if guys didn't break up. Del Rio & Rodriguez was one of those times..... I also felt that The Shield breakup felt forced - while Ambrose/Rollins was a great feud, it didn't really make that much sense for them to suddenly hate each other..... The Primetime Players breakup didn't make any sense, either - and neither does the Bellas split. Heyman/Punk should have stayed together, too - or at least, stayed allies - it was out of character for both to "feud" with each other. I'm sure someday Brock & Heyman will break up as well. I'm sure we'll also get to see Uso VS. Uso.... The only one that would make perfect sense - Goldust VS. Cody - we never seem to get!

Better question, why did they split up Ricardo & Del Rio in the first place? True. I honestly miss ADR. I understand why people got sick of him story wise, but as a wrestler I still loved him in ring.

Better question, why did they split up Ricardo & Del Rio in the first place? Because it was another stupid decision on WWE's part because they thought short-term it would be great to have Del Rio turn on Ricardo. However (much like a bunch of storylines today) nothing is thought out long term. As big an RVD fan as I am, him paired with Ricardo made absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Agreed, although the Punk/Heyman feud was great when he was facing Brock, after not so much. They should have done Brock/Punk for the belt during 434 and just had it like a friendly competition like Lesnar/Angle used to have with Paul moderating in the middle.

Better question, why did they split up Ricardo & Del Rio in the first place? I THINK their thought was Ricardo was too over and getting Alberto to turn on him would generate real heat for the recently turned Del Rio. It did not work, and many fans still did not care for Del Rio. I liked Del Rio, but heel or face, the fans were always lukewarm for him.

RVD and Ricardo sucked hard Lol this. It didn't feel right. A Mexican butler of sorts helping/managing Mr "whatever dude" just didn't make sense. Welp maybe if you're high. Oooohhhhhh!

It was a lazy boring pointless story to begin with.
Should have never happened in the first place. Ricardo without Del Rio made zero sense. It was just the start of whatever reason they had for destroying Del Rio's career.

It's funny. I hated it irl and thought it made no sence. But I just had Ricardo join forces with RVD in my fig fed to help him battle Lesnar and Heyman hahaha.
But yeah Ricardo should've just eventually double crossed RVD and went back with Del Rio. I always thought how towards the end both of them needed eachother back. And the next thing you know they are both fired.
