Hey guys, I only post randomly as I purchase for my son. Was looking to snag those four for Christmas, but not having any luck on ebay. I don't post on here, so I don't have enough for the classifieds. Anyone seen these, please let me know. Thanks!

I've only seen 1 or 2 people on here post they've found em in Canada & that was over a week ago, since then haven't heard anything new, actuly kinda forgot about them.

I saw kane and DB on ebay, but only once, and db had his head swapped. Canada has them, but were behind on BAFs, and theyre behind on elite waves

spent about 4 hours like crazy trying to find this set on ebay or at least 1 guy and found nothing.. dont mind spending 40 to 50 for that taker\bray. i cant wait to mid next year, just cant

Seems so stupid that I had to stare at empty toy shelves EVERYWHERE I went this spring, summer, and fall, and now we are bombarded with old sets and stores like Target and Wal-Mart rolling back the prices to clear their warehouses. Where was this stuff during the year? This has been the worst year since the Mattel license started to find things and has seen me going out of town/relying on out of town friends to help me find figures.

Shoot, I wouldn't....Hell, I wouldn't spend $199.99 on the whole set (which is how much it was on the bay)....I'm not better than anyone here, I just don't wanna do it. But it looks like I'd have to. The only reason why i wouldn't spend that much is because it doesn't make sense mathmatically. If the figures themselves cost at least $25 a pop for 4 figures, why am i gonna spend over $200 for the whole set? That word problem doesn't add up. Then again, these are super rare i guess....I also wonder if there is a place to look online for these, because it certainly isn't TRU's website. I wonder when these are gonna hit in the states. I just went to my TRU in Washington state and found a crap load of sheamuses from the Booker BAF series. A few Brocks/Punks from the Heyman BAF series. No paul bearer series. crap load of Alberto Del Rio's....i did see a couple nice Eric Rowan's though.....Nothing really new. Went to customer svc and they were asking about item numbers and $#*t....Like i would know that when the only source of knowledge for the set (that I've seen) is HERE on the forum via the "look what I got" style post. All i really want is that Taker. Also someone had on them listed individually for $50 each (PLUS 18 DOLLARS SHIPPING) and by the time i saw the listing, Taker was already gone.... I guess I'm gonna have to settle for the basic for now. (shrugs) |

However, what do you expect when you see something promoted and then it just DROPS somewhere outside the country you live in....Not even a projected release date. (I certainly didn't see one that i can remember) They just drop. It's natural for someone to be impatient when one sees someone else get something they also want but they can't. And yeah, they are considered "rare" at the moment because (what seems to be) 2 or 3 people have them in ONE location and can get away with selling them for DOUBLE the price. Only one person has the set on here and that's the person who posted it. This is similar to Mankind's debut figure...the same ONE figure was on the bay for like $2000 for a LONG TIME (felt like at least 6 months) and mattel/WWE/RSC kept flopping on when it would be released to customers. (glad to see them released though) They people who are impatient, who includes me to a certain degree, are afraid this thing is gonna happen with THIS awesome set. (Just like Paul Bearer's set) Sh*t, I STILL haven't seen the Paul Bearer BAF set in WA state. (Hell I don't think I ever will) TRU's are backed up with the same old Booker T BAF set that no one is buying. In summary, when you flop on your customers, they get impatient. I'm not making excuses for the impatience, just a perspective to consider. |
