I know I shouldn't be the one saying this but I'm inferring that many others are in the same position. I came home to the news of a huge ringisde pre-order post. Immediately scavenging for my card so that I could order E34 Doink, DM Hogan, DM Razor, but I stopped at Brie Bella Series 48. Excited for a great looking figure in my eyes that debuted at the event that I met brie at I thought I was crazy to see a mere $3 price difference between Brie and DM Hogan. And no, Hogan and Brie werent $15 and $18, Hogan and Brie were $28 and $25. While the Definfing Moments prices weren't all that bad, does ringside expect me to pay $25 for a figure that will be found on pegs a month or two later for $12? My two cents for the day, thank you.

Ringside doesn't expect you to pay anything. You're free to buy the figures from any source you'd like.

Retail on DM is $25 tho but I agree some of the pricing is a bit to much. But hopefully a free shipping sale can happen on Black Friday.

Should have put this in one of the other threads where people are complaining about prices.
RSC has been really good on prices this yr, near retail with discount, but they always raise them around Holiday time it seems. I buy something from them, but prefer to wait when I feel the prices are a bit steep.
I don't complain about it though. I don't see how they stay a float anyway selling only 1 type of toy, online only, several employees, a warehouse in NY (right?), Mattel's case assortments, etc. You see them basically giving away Cena/Mysterios,Ortons,DelRios,etc) They are selling a single type of item, to a limited market online. They aren't TRU who sells every type of toy. You either pay for the convenience they offer or not, it's your choice.

The prices ib Basic and Elite sets are made to balance the set sale from warmers like Cena, Rey, Orton, Kane, Big Show etc..... They won't make a profit from selling a hair above retail, and selling a Cena ( who may sell a few) at the same price as a Rusev ( who will outsell because he's a debut figure).

Admittedly I was disappointed seeing Brie at that price. I knew she'd be higher for a basic, but I was hoping maybe $18-$20. The prices for that set are (seem?) pretty high averageing at $18.50. Cena clocking in at the lowest in the set @$13, is Randy $15 cause its a new scan? I love RSC, and I'm not trying to sound like a Mr. Conplainy pants; just voicing an observation.
Edit; the next series after averages to $19.50. Interesting.

Wait until retail or amazon gets them in then. Ringside gets stuff at least a month before everywhere else usually so of course you are gonna pay higher prices unless you order the complete set and then it isn't a huge difference. If you don't like it nobody is forcing you to buy it. Ringside always ups the prices a bit before the Holidays but who can blame them? It's a business and it's the time of year people are spending money.

I'm more concerned why Pac has suddenly shot up to $35. They still have plenty for pre-order from what I can tell.

I still think it's ridiculous that the basic Bo Dallas is almost 27 with discount included.

The prices are to take advantage of the overzealous bunch, and I suppose people who don't live near retailers. And I don't mean 'take advantage' in a negative way, but in a business and profits way. There's money to be made there.

RIngside is like a premium service. They seem to price figures based on case numbers and predicted desirability among collectors. What do you get for the premium price? Guaranteed owner ship of the figure, no fig hunting, chance to get the figure weeks or months before retail, and often a good card (if you are into the MOC MIB thing). Is it worth it? It is if thats the service you want. It's a personal choice. If we don't like it, luckily we have the freedom to hunt for figs in the wild and score Eva Maria, Corporate Kane and El Torito in the same week like i did and save some dough. I say buy figs however you can. Buy them from RSC, WM, T, TRU, spam, BL, FD, any where. Cause the more we buy the more Matty will make and feed my addiction.
