Indeed. We'll see I suppose. I'm thinking he might remain in charge for a while though. He seems like the best candidate at this point. Itd be random to put sting in the role. There is really nobody else there unless they used Vince again. During the match last night they mentioned how if The Authority loses, then Kane loses his power too. In that case, I see Kane taking off till Royal Rumble and returning during it with the mask. Maybe he can finally break HBK's elimination record, he doesn't need many more to do so does he?

I'm positive on HBK but not sure on Kane's exact number honestly. I would assume, just by default, we'll see Kane pass the mark this year or next. I like the idea of keeping Kane away and then bringing him back behind the mask for the Rumble.

All I'm going to say is see Sid v. Canadian Who's Name Shall Not Be Named match where Sid is trapped and taps to the Shawn Michaels Crossface.
That particular PPV concluded with the Canadian winning the WHC, but being reversed the next day as the tapes later revealed Sid was under the ropes. The shot at the PPV was closeup so no one could see it until the next day.
Where was Rollins feet? Where was his legs?
I wouldn't be surprised if they reverse the decision and do a one on one against Ziggler with same stipulation because of this.

The real question for me is, who takes power? We've become so used to having some kind of figure in control, itd be seemingly bizarre without any. It doesnt seem likely Vince would step back into the spotlight. I'm thinking they'll go back to doing gms. Hopefully teddy long .

I hope they go all out with this. I want it to be like the night after Team WWE defeated Team Alliance. Reset some talent. New heels. New faces. Revamp that s**t, y'all!

Well if you count him coming back into the rumble this year after being eliminated and elminating Punk from the rumble and the whole company, then he is tied with Michaels. If you count his eliminations as Yankem (which I dont) then he is ahead. I think the rumble would be a good way to let him disappear for a small amount of time and come back bigger and better. He definitely needs to remask, thats why they kept it in the Authority's office the whole time, but the way in which they do it is challenging, the rumble is probably the easiest. Commentary did say Kane loses power too, I mean of course he loses the director title but he could easily be appointed a better role as GM or whatever. But hey, they rarely ever acknowledge or stick to things they say on commentary so it doesnt matter either way haha.

They should make a big deal about that this year then.

Kane has coasted on barely any eliminations for the past few years. He needs to break it since Roman destroyed his other record. Kane has to be the superstar with the most rumble records, except ever actually winning. Which is a real shame. I think this coming rumble would be like number 18. And Im guessing they are going back to 30 men. Kane is the number 40 entrance in history.

Except they have a legitimate excuse for not noticing: All were popping for Sting. Still if they wanted to make a point out of it they would have Mm, not necessarily imo. People are going to tune into Raw to see the fallout. Between Sting and Vince addressing the Authority, likely bringing out Cena, why even allude to what's going to happen? You don't want to take anything away from Sting returning, Ziggler going over, and the Authority going down right in the middle of this perfect storm of booking. The babyface high was at a 10 out of 10 last night. You don't want the audience going "well, but JBL mentioned the thing about the foot under the rope so it's not going to count." You want the audience to go "I can't wait to see the Authority with their tails between their legs tomorrow night!" At which point, you can pull the rug out from under them/us if you are so inclined. It's similar to Bryan winning the WWE Title at Night of Champions 13. You let the fans have their moment with their guy and the next night you take it all away from them to progress the story.

I see your point 100% I just feel like the wwe always plant seeds especially on commentary, but I could be wrong. Ah this is why I love wrestling, I'm so pumped for raw tonight

The "New Era" of WWE was supposed to have taken over at Mania (i.e. Cesaro winning big time, the Shield, Wyatts, Bryan, etc....) but the progression is yet to be seen.
They have ruined Cesaro completely, Bryan's gone, Ziggler will never reach WWE title status, Cena/Orton/Big Show/HHH/Lesnar are still the focus. Until they completely let the new ride without training wheels and let loose, continue to see the same old stuff from the same old people, while the workhorses continue to keep the diehards around.
