Is anyone else curious about the INSANE amount of flying dinosaurs attacking the crowd? I figured they would have a couple different flocks of flying dino species in cages but that looked like a flight of B-52 bombers coming from the mountains of the island.. I am hoping they keep it pure, and there's no odd plot of weaponizing.. Just something about the flying clip tho. I'm just thinking the D-Rex ends up ripping open the bird cage letting all of those free. I thought that at first, but the more I watched it the more it seemed a little off.. I would understand 3 or 4 birds per species making maybe between 12 and 16.. But this is like a massive flock.. I was counting around the 30 to 40 range. What the does a theme park need with 30 to 40 different large flesh eating dino birds?. Give it another watch. Because it's one of the stranger things this trailer had that stood out to me.. That and the "it's killing for sport" line from Pratt. And according to all the viral marketing, Masrani's Global empire is worth over 500 billion.. I'm just a lil' worried about certain rumors.

I loved the second trailer.
The ending reminded me of the scene with the little kids getting attacking by the T-Rex in the jeep from the first Jurassic Park.

Maybe that scene with all the flying Dinos wont be in the movie? Y'know the way they do things for spectacle in trailers? Like all the targeting lasers on Brody from Predators?
I agree having dozens of these species doesn't make much sense to me either.

I remember watching the trailer and thinking how awesome that particular scene was, then being in the theater and seeing the actual scene. Major letdown.

Oh I completely agree man.....I kept waiting for that scene to show up too & I wasn't impressed when it didnt. I mention it because it was the first time I actually heard of a scene being inserted specifically for the trailer from a marketing/advertising standpoint.

The wait is killing me. Fourteen years is too damn long...
Also noticed in that trailer at the 22 second mark, the new dinosaur looks like its in a bird cage, which might explain how they get free to attack the people.

This new trailer quelled my excitement/expectations a bit, which is probably a good thing. My two best friends felt similarly. Just didn't care for it.

This new trailer quelled my excitement/expectations a bit, which is probably a good thing. My two best friends felt similarly. Just didn't care for it. If you don't mind me asking, what was it about the new trailer that made you feel that way? I was actually talking with my friends last night about it, we were trying to place our finger on it. We're all huge Jurassic Park fans and have been eagerly anticipating this, like many, for years. The original teaser had me all sorts of excited, them too. The only thing we could really come up with last night was that it looks too "futuristic" for our tastes, if that makes sense. One of my favorite things about the original is the dark, jungle/safari type nature it carried. Also, of course, the certain sense of innocence, both from the perspective of the kids and the dinosaurs. This second trailer played it up to be a more traditional action/monster movie, so to speak. That, of course, and how badly I was hoping they'd use animatronics over CGI. It's pretty crazy to think a film from 1993 features far more realistic looking creatures than a brand new, 2015 blockbuster. That's something I knew was coming from the teaser, though. Regardless, I'm still excited. I'll still be there opening weekend. Hopefully, if anything, this just quelled my expectations enough to not leave disappointed.
