Why are people so adamant that Sting won't face Taker at Wrestlemania?

Why are people so adamant that Sting won't face Taker at Wrestlemania? Because The Undertaker is physically not in good shape.. And I don't mean in the sense of he needs to diet and exercise. The guy has trouble walking.. Not to mention after his last match, he collapsed backstage and had to be rushed to the hospital. I don't wanna see two 50 year old men try not to injure each other for 30 minutes.

I think all of this would play out a bit better were the Authority still in power to be honest.....HHH sends Kane after Sting. Sting kicks his ass @ RR. HHH tries to commit another injustice @ Elimination Chamber......Sting stops him again. Sting vs HHH @ WM!! Yeah, but Sting is responsible for the end of the Authority. That hatred isn't going to go away just because HHH isn't calling the shots. I still think they'll be able to build a really nice story around this one moment for the next several months. Plus, if Sting is put in power then HHH has an even bigger reason to now chase him through WrestleMania. I think it would take very little effort to see a guy like Rollins or Kane go after Sting right now over the next 2-3 PPVs leading into Mania. I know it's traditional to see the babyface chase the heel on top but in this case I think it might be compelling to see it work the other way around, given Sting's Legend status and HHH's desire to not be outdone by anyone. I agree it can work fine.....I wonder what added developments Raw will bring?

Sometimes fantasy matches are better off being left as fantasy matches, rather than getting the match and being disappointed.

I don't wanna see two 50 year old men try not to injure each other for 30 minutes. That was also seven months ago and he's been out and about since then. He works out regularly and does yoga, so I have no doubt he could go for at least one more match. He also told fans not to assume that he was retired, either. And a match against Sting would be far less physical than facing Lesnar. I'm of the belief that when Taker officially retires, there's going to be a definitive ending to his career and none of this "will he come back next year or is that it?" stuff.

How about the sheer fact that Sting can not lose his one and most likely only WrestleMania match and after going 21-0, how is Undertaker going to lose 2 in a row, especially after losing to Lesnar of all guys. And that is even if Taker can even do a match. Sting Vs Triple H will most likely happen at Mania, which is totally cool with me.

Why would you event want Undertaker vs. Sting if it's going to be medicore and not live up to the hype?

Do you remember Steve Austin's last match? That's how The Undertaker needs to go out.. He represents old school wrestling. He doesn't need a giant good-bye and a parade with balloons and kazoos. The Undertaker will go out quietly. That's my belief anyways.

Just seeing Sting in the ring with Triple H itself was one of the moments you had to be watching live to fully appreciate it. It is hard not to mention that both Sting & The undertaker made their first WWE PPV appearance at the Survivor Series. The stare down between Triple H & Sting is going to be one of the high points of 2014.

With Undertaker, we've literally been left wondering every year for the past five or so Wrestlemanias if this was going to be his last match. Nobody is saying he needs a huge goodbye party, but something like the ending to his HIAC match with HBK and Triple H was a fitting way to end his career. Something small, but meaningful like that.

People are going to expect so much out of Taker vs Sting I can already read the disappointed comments. As much as I'd love to see that match, imo it's better to leave as a fantasy match. Like the The Rock vs HBK.

I was never that into Taker vs Sting because of the Streak. Now that it is gone, it would make the match more climatic.
But I think Sting needs to win his first match in WWE. And Triple H is just the right guy to put Sting over. A victory over Triple H still means something.

I'm really hoping that we get Sting VS. HHH at the Royal Rumble...... Sting wins, and then gets Undertaker at WrestleMania........

Sting at his age needs someone to carry him I'm THE event of the year. Taker is too broke down for it. HHH is the best for making Sting look good

Think I'd rather see Sting vs Triple H than Sting vs Taker, if there had to be just one.

After last night I want to see ziggler vs triple h at mania, sting can take on the newly heel turned cena who just put triple h and Stephanie back in power.
