So watching an old episode of America's Funniest Home Videos when Tom Bergeron still had color to his hair, it got me remembering one of the silly game shows I used to watch when I was little, Hollywood Squares. Admittedly I was, and and will forever be a trivia nerd (LOVE Jeopardy) but Squares added that bit of comedy, probably thanks to the stupid answers Whoopie Goldberg and Gilbert Godfried gave.
Did anyone else watch this show back in the day? Would anyone want to see it brought back?

I remember watching the older episodes with Paul Lynde as the center square. Even as a kid, I knew there was something fruity about him.
But no, the scripts they give the celebrities are awful. I'd love to hear a Chris Rock/Evening at the Apollo version, though!

want to see something infinitely strange, find the episode where Roddy Piper and Captain Lou shared a square.

Loved it. They did Hip Hop Squares not too long ago... Ever heard Bobcat Goldthwait's bit about being kicked off HS? Priceless.
