This is 2 PPV in a row that he stole the show...and I believe set the tone for the entire night last night...does this help him start getting some traction in the WWE or is he still a forever high midcarder?

For me it's something about his voice. I know that sounds stupid because I love the wording and passion in his promos it's just his voice does't fit them. But he's incredible in the ring and has a lot of support worker wise and fan wise so hopefully he can break out of that high midcarder status. I enjoyed his run as WHC so I feel he has the credibility to do it.

I thought the match sucked. Sorry even as a Ziggler fan I havent bought into any of his work since Survivor Series, he looked like a bitch all through the match getting dominated yeah ok he showed heart? or something? at the end always kicking out etc but I just didnt buy into how long he was beat down only to take out 2 team authority members before triple H got involved. And last night I felt the match was really quite slow, and Ziggler winning by slapping Harpers bald spot? Nah not for me.

Not everyone's a main eventer, unfortunately. Ziggler has had a great career hell he's technically a two time world champ. Mr. perfect never held the world title and he's beloved by the fans and is considered one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. Enjoy zigglers work be a supporter of his but don't get to caught up on his status or it'll ruin him for you. Wherever this run for ziggler goes, I'm going to sit back and enjoy it

I don't know who has his back, maybe it's Triple H because he sees the HBK parallels, but all of a sudden, someone is going to bat for him. Survivor Series was ridiculous under dog booking for him and he was given an opportunity to shine again last night and he obviously delivered.
Does it mean he could break through? I don't honestly know. I think he's doing everything within his power right now to get noticed, and position himself as a guy who could be WWE Champion. That doesn't mean he'll ever be WWE Champion though. The door was busted wide open for a guy of Ziggler's size and ability to be champion. I think he could be an Edge type honestly. A situation where he could potentially win the big one but it won't be for any length of time. The arrow has to continue to point up though, and whoever has his back has to continue to win those battles backstage, and ultimately stay interested in his future.
He's the marathon man. Ziggler is the guy who has stayed the course and done his thing, really since the SummerSlam 2009 period when he was working with Rey, and just focused on being the best him he could possibly be. He won over the internet, and now he's winning over the general audience, and if he's winning over the talking heads then he could really do it imo. I've said this before though, as someone who has been emotional over Ziggler's lack of push for years, I'm just enjoying this period of his career. He looks perfect with that IC Title around his waist, out there putting on the best matches possible, and really just living up to his monicker. I'm not going to look past what he's doing now and get caught up in where he's going.

Ziggler is great but there is a bigger need to push younger, fresh new talent to the main event scene...
Like John Cena and Big Show.

It could be argued that he stole the show at the last three PPVs. I preferred him and Cesaro at HIAC to Ambrose vs Rollins.

I enjoyed the match a lot and was happy to see the IC title get a match like that. Both Harper and Ziggler took a lot of abuse in that match and just kept on going. Sadly I don't see Ziggler going much higher, but heck if we get classic IC title matches with him and other wrestlers that would be just as good if not better than seeing him in the main events.
One thing I really liked about that ladder match was the bumps both men were taking never felt staged or planned to me while watching the match, they felt like they came into the match natural. That was my biggest problem with the Ambrose Vs Bray match, every big spot felt so planned that it never felt natural. To be honest that was my biggest problem with Ambrose and Rollins Cell match as well, the big bump at the start of the match looked so prepared for that it did not capture the energy of making it look natural. Maybe just me, but I think Ambrose is very overrated and I think h could learn a lot from Ziggler.
So now to sum it all up, I like Ziggler but feel he is best not in the main events...BUT! If Ambrose continues to main event PPVs with his sub-par matches than I think Ziggler should be in the main events far more often.

Why though? What was so bad about it? For me it wasn't what I was expecting, that was the match I was most looking forward to the most last and it just didnt live up to my expectations. I felt it was kinda slow paced, Harper no sold quite a few times, the bit where Ziggler super kicked the ladder into Harper's head. re- watch it Harper takes the shot falls rolls to the ropes or apron and gets back to his feet almost instantly, wheas Ziggler is still struggling to stand. another spot, when Harper falls onto the ladder on the outside, no emotion at all, which is inconsistent to his character who was screaming in agony when he hit the suicide dive on ziggler and the ladder... Well to be fair to Harpers character he's supposed to be this slightly psychotic monster, but he nearly broke his arm on the suicide dive, I know you weren't streaming in high quality but go back and re watch the match harpers Arm got trapped in the ladder on the way down on the suicide dive it's a miracle he didn't break it. I don't care how tough you are he was definetley in serious pain

It was really good and Harper's best match.
Ziggler is probably gonna become a 16 time IC Champ.
