For me it's something about his voice. I know that sounds stupid because I love the wording and passion in his promos it's just his voice does't fit them. But he's incredible in the ring and has a lot of support worker wise and fan wise so hopefully he can break out of that high midcarder status. I enjoyed his run as WHC so I feel he has the credibility to do it. He has a very snarky, condescending tone when he speaks. It annoys me a bit too. I haven't been awfully impressed by much of what he's done since joining the main roster as Ziggler, but that Survivor Series showing was his first moment that I was really impressed by. The reaction he got for his cash in was good but I didn't think the moment was as good as other things that happened last year. The scenes in the SS match will be memorable ones.

I LOLd for about 5 minutes at that......well done Bash Younger talent?! You classify Big Show and Cena as younger talent?! Ziggler deserved to have a long reign as World Heavyweight Champion last year! Cena is in his 30's and Show has passed his 40's! Reigns, Ambrose and Rollins represent younger talent! I just don't want the company to push Roman as corny as John Cena!

I feel as if zigglers current intercontinental chamionship run will elevate the title by so much. And also it'll feel like he is a main eventer . I don't see him fighting for the wwe world heavyweight title in 2015

Me and my buddies thought Harper broke his arm on that dive spot where his arm landed INSIDE the ladder. That was one of the most brutal matches in terms of physicality that I've seen in quite sometime. I loved it and appreciate what those two did to entertain me last nite. Same here....it was great stuff

Ziggler is an outstanding talent. WWE has booked him great in the last couple months. If he can keep this run going, they'll have no choice but to make him a main event guy. i think i've read this exact post 57 times since about 2010 not a shot at you BTW, just an observation about the WWE's complete uncaring to make new stars instead just TALK about how "great the future is" they've been calling Ziggler the future (one of) since that period Ziggler is already 34 years old....and if they don't actually make him a legit permanent main eventer soon it'll be too late You're absolutely right. It's beyond frustrating at this point. I'm still holding out hope that this is the last push before he's considered a top guy.

I've been very happy with the way Ziggler has been booked since Battleground. The push Ziggler has gotten is well deserved for someone who's as talented as he is, and I hope it continues throughout 2015. I really hope Ziggler will become a main event star by mid 2015 possibly. With the Royal Rumble coming up, I really think Ziggler will have his moments in that match and possibly become the final 2 with Reigns. I don't expect Ziggler to win the Royal Rumble match as much as I would want him to, but WWE surprised me with Ziggler being the sole survivor at Survivor Series so hey, you never know.

There is no way Dolph Ziggler is winning the Royal Rumble match and then Main Eventing WrestleMania. There's a major difference between Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler, and even if Bryan had his 2013 build up this year I couldn't see him interrupting WrestleMania 31's suspected Main Events revolving around the passing of the torch from one of the top guys to Roman Reigns.

As someone said earlier, Dolph is great. I like the hell out of him, but he's s former world champion. Mr. Perfect was never a major world champion and I think Ziggler would have a tough time lacing up Curt Henning's boots.

I always thought of him more like Jericho than Michaels, but even then they're pretty similar.
But I see him definitely having the most IC titles by the time he retires.

Ziggler has to be one of the greatest wrestlers in recent years to not win the big one. I've always preferred the IC title, as it seems to be more about pure wrestling. I loved his heel WHC phase, and felt that he could potentially be a future top dog. At this point though, I think he's reached his climax.

Ziggler could be a great midcarder if they'd only bother making the midcard matter. He's no main event guy, and they should probably at this stage keep those lines drawn. Instead of him being a failed/struggling main eventer all the time when he doesn't have the skills for that, let him be the guy that holds the IC title and makes it prestigious and important.

They should make him win the Rumble, end of the story. Please, if they have any mercy on him.

Why in the world should Dolph win the rumble? Great talent, but there's a handful of guys who should win it before him. He's the perfect midcard wrestler.

I hope so.
In a fantasy world with some degree of realness I would have him win the WWE Title from Rollins in 2015.
I would think the WWE Title history for 2015 would go like this:
Lesnar (current champ) -----> Reigns (wins it at WM 31) -----> Rollins (cashes in around June) -----> Ziggler
I would love if Ziggler would win it from Rollins in late 2015 like at Survivor Series or something.
I highly doubt it would happen but it would be great and ideally he could have a really solid reign as IC Champion from now to then. Maybe he could win the MITB briefcase again? Who knows I just want him to have success..

Exactly. The midcard needs some serious work right now.....they need to make things matter there.
