So Chris Jericho mentioned on a recent podcast that Lex Luger has been employed by WWE since 2011 as some sort of advisor for their wellness program.
I had no idea Lex was employed in any way, shape or form. From what I understand, Lex helps out current superstars with proper workout and eating regimens. Lex also plays a role in the overall running of the wellness program. I'm sure this news probably hit at some point over the years but I have never heard anything about this and either had Jericho until last week.
I'm not a Luger fan but found it interesting regardless. That is all.

Well Luger was a DLC in SvR 2011, He got a Figure this Year, He was in some "Interviews" for DVD(Randy Savage Documentation for example) and he will be in the WWE2K15 WCW DLC Pack that gets released Tommorow... It is obvious that he has some kind of Contract with the WWE Eventhought that a guy like Luger runs the Wellness Program... But i guess since his Stroke he never did any kind of Roids

The main thing is he has turned his life around and he seems all the happier for it, so good luck with his WWE venture. Did I enjoy him as a wrestler? No, he sucked.

Wow, the guy who killed Miss Elizabeth with drugs and almost ended up dead himself has a job with the WWE regarding its wellness plan?
YIKES
Unless WWE just wants to wheel him out and have him tell his sad story to young wrestlers and convey the message of "look what drugs did to me, don't let it happen to you".....anything else would be a joke. The guy was clearly a massive drug user for his entire career.

I actually remember reading about this a couple years ago.
I think he's one of those 'don't be like me' guys. It makes sense to have a guy who had issues and is now recovered. Maybe he could be a sponsor if someone needed help.

She put that crap into her body on her own accord. Also, Sting was a massive drug user himself at one stage in his career for quite a while until he got cleaned up. Everyone deserves a second chance. Im no fan of Luger but thats the way i see it.

He was an alcoholic and took some pills from time to time. I don't think he took pills to the degree that Luger did and I don't believe he ever abused anabolic steroids like Luger. Sting never seemed that big to me, but I could be wrong. Sting never had a DUI, never got arrested, never had any public incidents, and never had anyone die in his home.

Unlike so many others, I was a fan of Luger. So I'm happy to hear that he's found religion and a steady paycheck. Everybody makes mistakes, so who are we to judge him? Least he's taken steps to make sure nobody else follows in his footsteps.

Yeah that's because he couldn't walk for a few months after his stroke but I read that he can now walk again which is a good thing.

Yeah I've known this for quite a while. You can also see many recent interviews of him for Network shows like Countdown and Monday night War , hardly looks like his old self without any muscle mass

If I didnt start hanging out with my best friend, I wouldnt have gained 80lbs...Therefore, if I die of a heart attack....its clearly his fault
See how dumb that sounds?

You need to take another look at late 80's - early 90's Sting. Dude was huge. Not saying he juiced, he did come into wrestling with a background in bodybuilding, but it looks like he could have. But getting back on topic, good for Lex. It's nice to see someone getting a second chance.
