I assumed the fact that they had recently-filmed interviews with him for the Monday Night Wars docs would give this way. I feel like I knew this at some point but never knew what his role was.

1) Lex Luger should not have to be employed by WWE for everyone to say "Don't do drugs or you'll end up like me". He's been employed since 2011 you say? Yeah, I think people knew he was the poster boy for disappointment found at the end of a dirty needle before then or else, well, then they're pretty ignorant to wrestling and don't belong in the business. It'd be like WWE bringing Chris Benoit back from the dead so he could go around telling all of the other WWE superstars NOT to murder their families.
2) This will inevitably lead to Lex Luger ending the undefeated streak of Rusev, probably at Wrestlemania... Or at least he'll body slam him on that boat he had. Seriously, I saw a bus at Walmart this weekend with the American Flag on it. It was for donating blood, but all I could think of was the Lex Express.
3) This may or may not also signal the return of Ico-Pro.

He probably gives looks into new kinds of Steroids and synthetic drugs that are available on the market and for WWE to ban

I have known this for two-three years. The WWE hired him to show the life changing effects of what steroid abuse can do for you. There is a difference of what a doctor can tell you versus somebody who abused his body with steroid and drug abuse can do for a person.
Going back to the discussion on page one about Lex Luger being responsible for Miss Elizabeth's death. There was an article I had read many years ago that Randy Savage blamed Miss Elizabeth's death on Miss Elizabeth. One of the reasons why Savage and Elizabeth's marriage ended in divorce was because Savage didn't like the lifestyle and path Elizabeth was going down. Even during their marriage, Elizabeth was a drug abuser. When she ultimately passed away in 2003, it didn't shock Savage at all. He didn't place any blame on Luger for Miss Elizabeth's death.
I'm glad Luger is living to tell his story and be an example of what not to do in the industry.

If that's true, that's pretty ing hilarious that a guy that clearly juiced runs the wellness program Well, times change and Luger is off the roids and rather healthy nowadays (even after his stroke a couple years ago) so he can maybe share his experiences so new guys aren't even tempted to do steroids. this was my idea also

Luger was clean during his WWF run, he says so in his book because of the steroid scandal. Reading his book, it was after WCW finished was when he was at his worst with pills and alcohol because he had nowhere to be. I'm sure his stories are worth listening to for the guys in the WWE now, so they don't end up like him.

Unlike so many others, I was a fan of Luger. So I'm happy to hear that he's found religion and a steady paycheck. Everybody makes mistakes, so who are we to judge him? Least he's taken steps to make sure nobody else follows in his footsteps. Lex is one of my all time favorites.

No offense but you havent a clue what your talking about. Liz had no one to blame but herself for her death. She put that crap into her body on her own accord. Also, Sting was a massive drug user himself at one stage in his career for quite a while until he got cleaned up. Everyone deserves a second chance. Im no fan of Luger but thats the way i see it. I don't believe she ever would have started using if not for the bad influence of Luger. And as far as Sting goes. He was an alcoholic and took some pills from time to time. I don't think he took pills to the degree that Luger did and I don't believe he ever abused anabolic steroids like Luger. Sting never seemed that big to me, but I could be wrong. Sting never had a DUI, never got arrested, never had any public incidents, and never had anyone die in his home. "Sting took pills from time to time." Were you there or something? You sound like a wrestler telling stories from the past. You really don't have the experience to say these things the way you do, like they're factual.

If you all think that his problems were strictly due to steroid use, you're wrong. He was on a number of drugs as well as most other wrestlers those days whether muscular or not. theres tons of guys from the old days that screwed themselves up with rec drugs but anytime one of them happens to have been muscular, it's always steroids to blame.

I don't think he took pills to the degree that Luger did and I don't believe he ever abused anabolic steroids like Luger. Sting never seemed that big to me, but I could be wrong. Sting never had a DUI, never got arrested, never had any public incidents, and never had anyone die in his home. that is a load of garbage. first off, sting was addicted to the very sort of pills that luger also used and that killed miss elizabeth. not from 'time to time', he's admitted he was an addict. secondly, that comment that miss elizabeth wouldn't have done those drugs without luger is a baseless assumption. she was an adult, and had been on the road 20+ years...she was responsible for herself. I agree that Liz made the decisions that led to her death. Lex (I believe) was on something himself the night she died. A sad situation for sure, but the man has admitted his faults and wants to do something positive with what is left of his life. Maybe help an up and comer to not make the same mistakes. I think it's a good fit. As for Sting, he mentioned in JR's podcast that he tried a lot of stuff but didn't become an addict because he couldn't afford it in the early days. He became a born again Christian (like Luger) and got away from that lifestyle altogether. Sounds a lot like Shawn Michaels' story, too.

I remember this from a few years ago. It sounds like he's seen the errors of his ways & seems much more humble now
