Dont get me wrong, I appreciate the fact that those steps, must be a tad heavy - but no way do the weigh 275lbs, as that little advert that Michael Cole showed us before the Rowan V Show match.
wrestlers like british bulldog and the warlord were around 275lbs.
so when big show is holding steel steps in his hands for 30 seconds - he's holding Davey boy Smith for 30 seconds???
nope - sorry wwe, the universe will not swallow this blatant lie..... lol

Back in the 90s they'd say those things weighed 500 pounds so who's really surprised.

I know I've seen crew members move the steps and it takes four of them to move them. Definitely not 275lbs though.

They use to say if you were thrown over the top rope you fell 15 ft to the floor...in reality it only about 10. Also you would climb a 15 foot high steel cage...that was only about 8-10 tall.

I'll never forget IWC Puerto Rico show where Abuss wrestled someone around 2001-2002 in a steel cage amd was tossed from the too through a table, and the ring announcer yelled " Dear God, from 30 feet in the air!!!" 30 feet? Come on man.

Most likely not 275, but they're not made of pillows either. I can remember CM Punk reeeaallly struggling to get them over his head during a match.

Yeah everything is exagerated wasn't Giant Gonzales billed at 8ft tall? Big show was at 7'2 for ages.. Like that "25 foot ladder" Ambrose got out last night, the 25 ft that only just took him above top rope level.

My dad who is a welder always used to get so mad because they're designed to look like checker plate. He would always say "if that was real checker plate there is no way they'd just be throwing them around like that"

200 or 250lbs sounds about right.
I also believe The Big Show can hold a 275 pound person for 30 seconds.. This is the big leagues kid, these guys lift weights daily.

For steps that weigh over 200 pounds, they're quite aerodynamic
