remember how it was always said that the WWE is "maintaining" well this weeks' RAW was the lowest rated since a 2012 Christmas Eve show somewhere around 3.5 million people watching but Lesnar is good for business right? the Human Demolition Derby was a gigantic success, the greatest TLC pay per view EVER CenaWinsLoL Roman Empire begins change? yeah, things need to change. why can't Vince lose his mind and start firing writers and TV producers instead of wrestlers they're going to continue to lose a LOT of money and not sell Network subs because no one gives a about the product anymore. the ONE THING that was always the saving grace of wrestling was a World Title chase and we don't even have that anymore! If Vince's plan was to de-value the company as much as possible by hiring brock lesnar, it's working. Funny how when Punk was champ and ratings were low it's "blame the champ" or when Bryan had the belt and ratings were low "blame the champ" Lesnar has the title (i think) and its "well the title is IMPORTANT NOW and Lesnar is a legit BEAST" so i guess that's OK??

I dislike how the title chase we have now is less about the title and more about Cena proving he's not Brock's bitch.

It goes to show how much Vince has lost touch with that the fans want, I'm hoping in the coming year Triple H is given more power over raw while Vince takes a back seat. Although too many people have said Vince will die at the throne rather than hand it over...

Rollins could have won the title at Night of Champions and Cena could still be chasing Brock within the same story he is now. Just saying... I honestly haven't looked at the ratings in awhile, grand scope anyway. They did pretty well around SvS compared to previous years if I remember correctly, but I'm not shocked that the interest has rock bottomed based on what is currently going on. WWE has all kinds of problems imo, so I won't get into all of that but I'm guessing there won't be any kind of freakout unless the downward trend occurs during Mania season, which it could.

This REALLY sucks because I have a feeling this will be blamed on Rollins, Ambrose, and Wyatt when in reality it's just that there's absolutely nothing story wise that's interesting in WWE right now.

I always hated the excuses made by pointing at one guy only like last year, "Summerslam didn't sold as much as 2012 because of Bryan" or crap like that. When you constantly propose a product that isn't REALLY fun anymore and the fans do everything to show you their disapproval, you should ask yourself what the is going on in your mind.

i just cant imagine Raw losing any ratings, considering the high quality effort they put into the show every week.....yes...sarcasm
but its funny all the "new" fans will always say...Raw is amazing, i blame vince alot, but at the same time, i blame the "new generation" because they accept this crap, and until vince gets as low as TNA he wont change it, ratings are down, morale is down, interest is down, but as long as vince isnt going out of business, he wont change a thing, TNA needs to step up their game, and stop following wwe footsteps, give the fans what they want, and start making some noise in the wrestling industry, otherwise we all lose

Vince is just out of touch, Dixie was never in the stratosphere of ever getting it right. Plus, TNA is scaling back and moving to a smaller platform. So the opposite of what they would need to do to actually compete with Vince. I'm definitely for the idea of someone like TNA stepping up and challenging WWE, but I'm not holding my breath it's ever going to be TNA. I honestly don't think it'll ever happen again.

Eh, it's not like WWE has given them a reason not to drop, it's been horrible for months.
God bless WWE updating their site so I don't have to watch it.

Ratings dropped this low every December. Not just holiday shows. And guess what? They went back up. Do we have to do this every year?

I think TNA killed itself when they decided to hire Hogan and Bischoff and revolutionize a product that was really starting to make a threat at Vince. They were at their top again with Angle vs Wolfe, Daniels-AJ-Joe, the World Elite that was awesome and then boom: everything trown in the toilet by hiring the Nasty Boyz, Orland Jordan, Val Venis and all of that crap.

It's creative's fault and their awful storyline telling. How many times do we have to keep seeing Seth Rollins vs. John Cena.

Can't wait to see how low they can get. Hopefully Vince will realize that his part-timer-mania and constant Cena push are not what's right for the company at the moment.

It isn't entirely creative's fault. For years, the fall/winter portion of year is a bad place for WWE to carry top-notch feuds. Many people watch NFL, NHL, and NBA with Raw and Smackdown appearing on those same nights. Once football dies down, the road to Wrestlemania rolls around and more viewers tune in to watch it.
But, especially this year with Lesnar as a champion for the later portion of 2014, there was no lack or drive to do anything big (with the exception of Survivor Series). The WWE was forced to build up their up and coming stars early because of the absence of their champion. The IC Champion has gained more value over the past few months than the WWE WHC Champion because it has been actively defended and changed.

Lesnar having the title is great, but they've just gone about it all wrong. A reign from Rumble to Wrestlemania would have sufficed, and he would have been on TV consistently with it.

Its like its last December. Or the December before that. Or the December before that. Or the December before that. Or the December before that. Or the December before that. Or the December before that. Or the December before that. Or the December before that. Or the December before that.
Or even the one before that.
