Vigilante is not that bad, but I'd prefer The Icon or Dark Knight or something like that, or just call him Sting without a douchy-stupid-hashtag nickname...

Let's have a run down of all the nicknames we have on the current roster.
"The Analyst" Alex Riley "Bad News" Barrett "The Giant" The Big Show "The Eater of Worlds" Bray Wyatt "The Beast" Brock Lesnar "The King of Swing" Cesaro "Y2J" "The Ayatollah of Rock and Rolla" "Lion Heart" Chris Jericho "Captain Charisma" Christian "The Goat" "The Yes Man" Daniel Bryan "Mr No Days Off" Darren Young "The Lunatic Fringe" Dean Ambrose "The Show Off" Dolph Ziggler "The People's Champion" "The Brahma Bull" The Rock "Big Red" Eric Rowan "The Bizarre One" Goldust "The One Man Band" Heath Slater "The Real American" Jack Swagger "The Champ" John Cena "The Wildcat" Kofi Kingston "The Ravishing Russian" Lana "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry "The Most Must See Superstar" The Miz "The Queen of Harts" Natalya "The Anti-Diva" "The Diva of Tomorrow" Paige "The Mad Scientist" "The One Behind The One" "The Walrus" Paul Heyman "The Viper" "The Apex Predator" Randy Orton "The Biggest Little Man" "The Ultimate Underdog" Rey Mysterio "The Juggernaut" Roman Reigns "The Bulgarian Brute" Rusev "The Big Guy" "The Human Wrecking Ball" Ryback "The Undisputed Future" "The Architect" Seth Rollins "The Celtic Warrior" Sheamus "The Billion Dollar Princess" Stephanie McMahon "The Game" "The Cerebral Assassin" Triple H "The Deadman" "The Phenom" The Undertaker
Why does Sting need a new one? "The Icon" works just fine. I suppose he isn't a WWE icon though, which might be the reason for it.

Yeah, The Icon was his TNA nickname.
I grew up with Sting in TNA so that's what I know him as but the Vigilante is cool too. I'm just glad Sting finally made his way to WWE.

Sting doesn't need a nickname.

I wonder if they'll bill him from "Every man's nightmare"

'Vigilante' sounds the most suitable based on his actions at Survivor Series. Vigilante is not that bad, but I'd prefer The Icon or Dark Knight or something like that, or just call him Sting without a douchy-stupid-hashtag nickname... Dark Knight is tacky as .

When did anyone ever call him The Icon? I watched Stings tenure from JCP to the final Nitro and not once did I ever hear Bob Caudle, Tony Schivone or Jim Ross refer to him as The Icon....If it didnt happen in WCW, then its irrelevant.

Sting to me, is no icon. Wrestling all his life in second or third rate promotions does not warrant Icon status. WWE was number one for 50 years. WCW was number one only 83 weeks by accident. Sting is no icon. Typical ignorant WWE fan boy response. Amen! Since 1987 baby! Never once flipped to Nitro. I don't watch AAA baseball and surely do not do it in wrestling.

Saying WCW/NWA was "Triple A baseball" is pretty dumb. Without Starrcade there would be no Wrestlemania. Without Clash of the Champions there would be no monthly PPV. WWE themselves put men such as Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, Harley Race, Eddie Guerrero, Brisco Brothers, Ricky Steamboat, Ron Simmons, Road Warriors and Booker T into THEIR Hall of Fame....and these are all guys who were WCW guys. Most of your "WWE Guys" were "WCW Guys" first. WCW had more weekly hours of wrestling on TV then WWF did. WCW ran in the same size arenas that WWF did. It would be a different story if we were talking about ECW compared to WWF as yes, they were more "minor league" but just because WCW didnt have the same ratings didnt mean there were minor league. They ran neck and neck with with WWF in every aspect of wrestling. That's a fact.

So you are telling me that Vince would have never in a million years EVEN in the year 2014 EVER come up with something called a ppv? No, THAT is pretty dumb... AAA is WCW. I stand by what I said.

TNA is not irrelevant just because you don't like it. I think you're misunderstanding what Im saying. Its irrelevant to WWE/WWE Universe. That is true, yes. But WWE is the only company like that for whatever reason. Other companies do not go by that.
