Saying WCW/NWA was "Triple A baseball" is pretty dumb. Without Starrcade there would be no Wrestlemania. Without Clash of the Champions there would be no monthly PPV. WWE themselves put men such as Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, Harley Race, Eddie Guerrero, Brisco Brothers, Ricky Steamboat, Ron Simmons, Road Warriors and Booker T into THEIR Hall of Fame....and these are all guys who were WCW guys. Most of your "WWE Guys" were "WCW Guys" first. WCW had more weekly hours of wrestling on TV then WWF did. WCW ran in the same size arenas that WWF did. It would be a different story if we were talking about ECW compared to WWF as yes, they were more "minor league" but just because WCW didnt have the same ratings didnt mean there were minor league. They ran neck and neck with with WWF in every aspect of wrestling. That's a fact. Sorry, I know you have your opinion, but Stone Cold has had several people from WCW on his podcast and they have all stated and agreed multiple times that WCW was minor league. Those are guys who know a hell of a lot more about what they're talking about than people on here. I'm more inclined to agree with them. Im sure they're talking more about how the company is run then the on air product.

I'm sure no one thought they were minor league when Vince was on the brink of bankruptcy in the mid-90's and WCW was kicking his ass.

I will say that minor league or not, I enjoyed many more years of NWA/WCW than I have WWF/WWE. This is fine considering I've refused to call wrestling "sports entertainment" for nearly 30 years now. Suck it, Vince. "Professional wrestling isn't sports entertainment, it's an entertaining sport." -Nigel McGuinness

In all fairness, Shawn Michaels was WWE's "The Icon" first.

In all fairness, Shawn Michaels was WWE's "The Icon" first. Yea, and WMX8 - Hollywood Hogan VS The Rock was billed as "Icon VS. Icon".....
