Even though I've listed my attire preferences above, as I mentioned on the other thread the most important thing to me is that Hollywood has a HEEL headscan. Snarling ideally. I will be so disappointed if Mattel gives him a smiling or smirking headscan, like Jakks did. I want my Hollywood to look mean and bad. That was the whole point of the character.

Mostly black pls, like Apoc said the white was just so meh to me. I just really hope they don't give him the same torso as the DM figure, he needs like the Austin torso or something similar.

since the new wave of Defining Moments has been FLAIR, HOGAN, RAZOR, STING.. i dont see the next one being HOGAN again.. although i am uber cool with it and i would buy it as long as its not a current hulk.. but i would prefer for that DM spot to be some one else. and throw hollywood hulk 97 era in an elite wave, then give us 2002 WWE Face Hulk in a baf wave, then i would like to get more 90 91 WWF HULK figures.. with cloth tank tops whether its DM or any way possible.. one specific HULK release i would like to see is the 91 version with the the usa themed tank top and python power bandana and a 2nd bandana ALL BLUE with White Stars which he wore alot during his 91 feud with slaughter and at that classic MSG house show street fight with slaughter... of course we need his most iconic WWF look HULK RULES tank & bandana Winged eagle belt
the only hulk i could care less even getting is WCW babyface look..hated it.. we need WWF 89 90 91 92 and nWo and WWE 02 tights

So I know there is another thread regarding Hollywood Hogan, but everyone seems to go in different directions as to what THE Hollywood Hogan should be. So I got to thinking... I'm sure the Mattel Design Team is well underway with the Hollywood Hogan design and probably initial prototypes as well. But if they are in a pickle in terms of deciding on what Hollywood Hogan should be and in what set he should be released in, maybe this will help. Would you all be happy if Hollywood Hogan would be released in the following order: 4th Defining Moments of 2015 (Oct-Dec 2015)Hollywood Hogan - Starrcade 1997 "Hollywood Rules" sleeveless t-shirt like the D-Generation X t-shirt released with the recent X-Pac, "Hollywood" belt, "nWo" Heavyweight Championship Belt, "Hollywood" bandana, sunglasses Elite Collection Series 36/37 (second half of 2015)Hollywood Hogan - FLASHBACK WM18 Attire note: Differences in attire would the the white boots instead of black, the different design on the pants "nWo" sleeveless t-shirt like the one referenced above, boas, white "Hollywood" belt, "Hollywood" bandana, white sunglasses (please note that I understand people want lots of other Hogan figures but this thread only applies to nWo Hollywood Hogan) EITHER WAY IM BUYING 10

nWo Hogan needs a DM release to get all the good stuff like nWo belt and feather boa, weight belt etc. Put 90-91 Hulk Rules Hogan, 2002 Hogan, and Hogan from around his match with Michaels (2006 I think) in the Elite line or RSC exclusive.

If the Hollywood Hogan ends up being a Defining Moments figure, I would love Hogan to come with a black and white boa as well. The boa would be insane.

I was just thinking about this, because I always thought the Hollywood Rules shirt was crap for someone as iconic as Hogan. It looked like sloppy carny airbrushed nonsense from someone's van. WWF's branding and logos for Hogan were so much stronger. (Aside from the nWo logo itself, that was great.) The terrible blue flames, the skull tattoo he doesn't even have, the unimpressive Hogan portrait, and "Rules" looks like a 12 year old drew it, not even centered. And I'm not irrationally obsessed with wrestling attire details, I'm perfectly fine. Humbug. Still yea I needs me a Hollywood Hogan. It always looked like Hall and Nash had sloppy attire as well, still loved it, just always noticed their attire seemed to regress from WWF to WCW. The minute they got back to WWF in 2002 they had bad ass new nWo gear that looked sharp once again.

Personally, IMO...This is the iconic nWo Hollywood Hogan look.. I personally would replace the beach side air brushed nWo shirt for the hollywood hogan shirt but that look is what I think of with Hogan

Honestly I think they'll go with the Wrestlemania X8 look for Hollywood Hogan first. Probably a higher-up from WWE will instruct them to make that attire due to it having been while he was in WWE. We all know how they like to pretend WCW didn't happen.

A Hollywood Hogan elite or defining moment figure would be unbelievable.

No NWO Hogan in 2015. Saving him for 2016. But I promise it will be worth the wait. Merry Christmas.

Actually, in all seriousness...now that I'm thinking about it...what happens if Hogan flakes again and splits from wwe? Say he doesn't get his mania match, or retirement match and leaves again, do you guys have a long term contract with him, or is it through wwe?
Not trying to be a smart ass, I'm just curious.

Here's to hoping we get a gruff WCW look and not the watered down WM18 version. As iconic as it is...it doesn't have the slime that the true heel Hollywood Hogan of WCW had.

Here's to hoping we get a gruff WCW look and not the watered down WM18 version. As iconic as it is...it doesn't have the slime that the true heel Hollywood Hogan of WCW had. Excellent comment, couldn't have put it better myself. Although personally I would also place the later NWO/wolfpac Hogan in the watered down category. As I said before, the two strongest representations of the Hollywood Hogan character would be - early NWO with messy spraypainted NWO shirt, simple white on black lightning tights, basic/plain text design Hollywood bandana, bones design on black boots, and a snarling headscan with short/thin moustache and light stubble -and- late 1997 era with Hollywood Rules shirt, blue-glow white lightning on black tights, stylized text design Hollywood bandana with lightning motifs, blue fire on black boots, and a snarling headscan with short/thin moustache and medium stubble. I'm not saying we shouldn't get a Wolfpac Hollywood and a WWE Hollywood (and these versions would need a headscan with a thicker moustache and heavier stubble of course), because it's Hogan and making figures of as many looks as possible is a no-brainer, they'll all sell through the roof. But the Early NWO and late-1997 looks are the most important and defining to the Hollywood character, no question about it.
