i would prefer a WM19 Jericho Can't we have both?! Seriously, though, as far as a "Defining Moment" his appearance at Vengeance 2001 would be more appropriate, but I'll admit his WM19 attire is a lot cooler. I'd have to agree with you and request that look.

How do you know Mattel has 5 more years, does Ultimate Warrior's contract expire at the same time as Mattel's?! I think both Warrior's and Macho Man's contract with Mattel will be expiring soon, I don't think it goes on forever?! Anyone know what the typical duration of these figure deals is?! One would think if those two guys contracts were running out Mattel would not move at a snails pace to release any and all figures they could of them. They are money So I seriously doubt they would lose the rights to them for a long while This is Mattel though. Lineups are set in stone! Can't bump that next Mark Henry for another Warrior...

I highly doubt that Warrior and or Machos estate will be pulling out from their WWE Legends deals any time soon.

I think both Warrior's and Macho Man's contract with Mattel will be expiring soon, I don't think it goes on forever?! Anyone know what the typical duration of these figure deals is?! This is a direct copy and paste from a message board I'm a member of for Warrior and Steve (Warriors assistant) directly responded to me when I asked about future figures with this response: "Our action figure rights with Mattel ended this year (naturally ended not because of Warrior's passing) and renewed with WWE exclusively in late 2014. This is also why we stopped the 1/15 limited series. As it was the last one Warrior and myself created, we felt best to end the series there which ended with the 2K Commercial action figure. Whilst many fans seem angry at this figure being limited it was chosen by us in late 2013 just because we thought it was cool to have a short haired Warrior and the colors of the commercial were the O.W.N. colors if anyone spotted that. In ending the limited series I agreed future exclusives which is where Target HOF figure comes in. I have queried Ultimate Maniacs before but as Macho Man's rights are held by Macho Man Inc, they partner with WWE much like ourselves so if WWE wanted to I'm sure Mattel could produce it but it depends on specifics and Mattel."

Maybe it's just me but what exactly does all that mean? Does it mean that the individual deals ran out and WWE Legends deals cover it now or what?

Yeah his wording confused me too so you're not alone on that, so when I asked for a little clarification this was his response:
Love the pictures. That's exactly why Warrior loved his fans so much such an incredible connection like one before him. Keep up the good work man.
On the figures I mean there will be exclusives instead of the limiteds. The normal figures will carry on the same. Same set up just with WWE directly now.

It just means that Warrior, or his estate now, doesn't have such a large say in what figures are made, its more down to WWE now, whereas Warrior used to have his Limited Editions, there will now only be Exclusives, such as the HOF

Just happy to know there will be more! Yes. Also means if wwe wants to do a 2k14 warrior. They can. And hopefully this limited edition crap is done with. No reason to limit only 15 of your fans to a figure. Keep doing that and they will actually only have 15 fans

Get mad at him, not the companies that makes the figures.

I love the Warrior, and he has as many or more iconic looks as anyone, but I'd much rather get a new character or at least one that is dramatically different than something we've already gotten.

Have any of you guys seen the guy trying to push the custom Warrior on eBay as the defining moments 2K14 Warrior?

I have a feeling it maybe a variation of the short hair Warrior. Honestly it isn't fees-able in a production and just make 15-20 heads. I have a feeling that we will get a Warrior in short hair this year. Perhaps a Warrior in suit and bow tie with a Hall of Fame plague and a podium like Bruno Sammartino?

That would be absolutely amazing! Not sure how many average fans would want that, but sign me up for three!

I bet if we do get a short hair warrior he is in the suit , but with removable paint mask , from his last Raw appearance as that was actually a pretty defining moment in his career and a great speech.
