Maybe if they wouldn't put guys who no one wants to buy in sets then they'd move a hell of a lot more

Problem is idk who else buys full BAF sets aside from collectors. Most kids will be lucky to get an $18 elite let alone 4 $21 elites. This means that the most popular ones will go first, being shortpacked means there will be gaps. Like there being an abundance of punk/brock and no Bryans or Cenas. I saw one DB ever at retail, and handful of Cenas

Shield BAF? Did I miss something here? There was a recent post that showed a few images of the Shield members in their current solo attires and Bill/MDT had said they were in planning for a quick turnaround BAF set, but it got nixed.

Considering that TRU has Del Rio & Sheamus on clearance for super cheap on their website and in their stores (they are $5 or $6), I assume we will for sure get Bearer soon.
I wonder if TRU does a reset this time of year like Target.
Maybe they are holding off until then?

The most likely case was that these were shipped to UK and Canada since there were too many left in the USA and unless Mattel creates another wave, I think we're doomed from the back log. I hope I'm wrong. Nope. Canada, Germany etc use different packaging, so the figures there were never meant for US distribution. UK ones are the same packaging as US (although that's changed this year), but I don't think US Toys R Us can just order hundreds of thousands of figures and then decide to send them to the UK and Australia because US stores are full. UK Toys R Us would have to order them, and we still had plenty of the Booker T series ourselves anyway.

When will people realize that MDT stands for Mattel DESIGN Team? While Bill might have some info distribution is not his thing as his job is to design figures. I'm sure we will see the Kane BAF in the US sometime between February-June. It's just on a delay like the JR set. As far as Bearer, I'm sure we will see it now that the Del Rio/Sheamus figures are starting to clear out. I do think Mattel should just be done with the BAF line though as it's falling too far behind. Once they made it two a year instead of one a year I think thats when the line was doomed.
TRU always has a problem with overstocking most WWE sets which is why we usually see one elite set show up at TRU for every three. If mattel insists on continuing the BAF line then maybe it's best to give the line to Target or Amazon. Since Target now has the HOF series, Amazon might be a good choice.

I am sure we will see them in tru if Feb when they finish their inventory. It was the holiday season so the distribution centers weren't moving product they had on hand they were sending the stuff to stores as soon as they got it leaving older product. They do it every year. Waves are passed during the holidays only to show up in Feb after the holiday season and they do their inventory. I'm certain it will be the case with those two sets as well. Especially seeing the stores finally cleaned out most if not all of their past BaF's.

They need to get rid of the BAF part of the BOPPV so they can have a cheaper price tag that is the same as Elite figures. It just has to go and those BAF figures placed in the basic line where they belong. Heenan and Hart should be in the basic line and Bearer too. Have a current/classic manager every other wave or 3rd wave.

The real, question is....why can he send the bafs to canada, but not the states, and why can he send the hof sets to America, but not canada? Something just doesn't add up , I was told by someone on here, that the reason we don't have the hof is because our store needs to order it, so why is it different in the states for the baf sets?

They're sitting in the same warehouse that held the TRU Exclusive Mankinds for over a year.... Now that space is free to hold all the new BAF stuff. It'll come out eventually.... but it'll be WrestleMania 32 season before we get the WrestleMania 30 figures. TRU was never going to carry that Mankind. The only thing they would be involved with for that was being the store that you would need to buy the figures you needed the Upc's and receipts to mail into Mattel to get the figure. But for some reason they never started the promotion. But either way Mattel would have been the one who shipped you the Mankind after you sent in the form, upc's and receipt. But yes TRU's distribution centers do this every year. At a certain point leading up to the holiday season they stop shipping the product they have and just ship the newer stuff to their stores as they get it. This way it is half the time. Instead of swapping the older stock with the newer they just ship the newer. That is why waves are skipped only to show up months later. Now that the holidays are over TRU does their annual distribution center inventory which mean most stores won't get a truck until the 3rd or 4th week of Jan. Then come Feb the inventory is done and they star shipping on a weekly basis again. So come late Jan/Feb we will star seeing new product including the BaF lines. I know my area distribution centers had baf product, because the employee who always helps me told me they did back in Oct before he switch to overnight. (Every year he switches to the overnight crew from Nov 1 - Jan 1.) I just haven't seen him yet because I have yet to go to TRU this year, because I know they aren't getting a truck until late next week (the earliest) The real, question is....why can he send the bafs to canada, but not the states, and why can he send the hof sets to America, but not canada? Something just doesn't add up , I was told by someone on here, that the reason we don't have the hof is because our store needs to order it, so why is it different in the states for the baf sets? TRU, Target, WalMart, etc order the product from Mattel. Mattel sends it to each retailers distribution centers and it is up to each retailer to decide which of their stores carry it. If a retailer doesn't want their Canadian stores to stock it then they won't get it. Mattel has nothing to do with that. Mattel ships it to the distribution centers the retailers tell them to. Hell with the exception of the movie lines my local WalMart never carried any of Mattel's DC Comics lines. Until the Multiverse line they never even had shelf space. I asked the dept manager why many times and they said corporate decided what the store carried. They even tried ordering it in front of me and the orders would be refused. Yet I could go to any WalMart down in NJ or an hour north and they carried all the lines.

Ya, I understand the store needs to order the product, what I don't get is why would the baf sets be sent to canada but not the USA? I'm just curious why not even 1 target in the entire country of canada would ask for at least 1 case? Just doesn't add up, why would our stores ask for baf that the states don't get , but not a hof set? Dunno if I'm explaining myself correctly , just something seems odd

It has nothing to do with the individual stores. Your Target stores could ask for the HOF, but Target's Corporate offices doesn't want their Canadian stores to carry them they aren't getting them. Mattel has no say in which stores get them.
As for the BAF it is the same thing every year the stores are filled with past BaF's that their distribution centers aren't sending the new set until they clear out the old. And the Booker T set lasted on the pegs longer than any past set. Now that the holidays cleared them out we will see the new sets around Feb. This happens every year at TRU. As I stated above the BAF sets were sitting in my areas distribution center according to the TRU employee who has helped me out for 10+ years now with my collecting. Like I said above though I haven't seen him since late Oct before he switched to night crew for the holiday season. (does it every year from Nov 1-Jan 1.) and I haven't gone to TRU yet this year because with inventory the earliest they will get their first truck of the year would be late next week. But unless something happened in the last 2 months they will start shipping in Feb.
