despite the outcome....if this company truly wanted to do something amazing, they could book Finn as legit and he could challenge Cena.
but they wont. they'll debut him, he'll win 25, 45 second squash matches because thats the only way they think people will care, then he'll get in a meaningless feud for the IC title and just be another guy

In before John Cena would bury Finn Balor comments. I really wanted to make one right out of the gate just to be a smart ass, but I controlled myself. I really do think they would matchup well in terms of styles. The match could end up being phenomenal. Mania or not, I hope this happens at some point so Balor can cross it off his list. I can't imagine they won't cross paths at some point but stranger things have happened.

I'd rather see Balòr vs Bryan or Rollins, either one could be one of the greatest matches in WM history. Unless the Cena match is for the WWEWHC and Balòr is going over.

Love his answer to favourite match. Great to see someone whose goal is that Hogan vs Rock type atmosphere, rather than doing X number of moves. I think time's his biggest enemy, because he'll probably still be in NXT for a while (although he's way more ready for TV than Itami is) and it'd take a while after debuting for him to really be on Cena's level. Of course, the big problem for him in top feuds is his promos. But I love that he wants to get to that grand stage, big fight level... That makes me think he will work at improving to reach it.

This would be what Wyatt/Cena should have been.

If I were booking, Cena/Balor at WrestleMania would be the "passing of the torch" type of match. I truly believe that Balor has the ability to one day be on Cena's level and be "The Guy" in WWE.

Surprised to hear that. Could be an interesting match up though. To me, balor is the complete opposite to Cena. He shines in the ring but doesn't really have much in the character/ promo department.
I think if he's going to become a top guy, he needs to talk less. 1) he seems like an absolute sweetheart and couldn't come across as intimidating if his life depended on it and 2) he doesn't really have that energy/ charisma that is needed for WWE style promos. Ring style aside, I think he has all of the traits that made Jeff Hardy successful. People will be drawn to him without the need for much talking at all. I could easily see him fitting into that enigmatic bad ass type role who is placed safely between the top heel and the top face in a few years. Would definitely look forward to a Cena feud.

I can understand why. Cena will the right guy is always entertaining. His matches with Punk for instance.

I could see this happening with Finn, sure, but then you look at someone like Seth Rollins and he seems to be treated as a legit threat as much as anyone despite only being the size of one of Brock Lesnar's legs. I mean, Seth Rollins is built like someone you'd see three of losing to Ryback at the same time. But WWE is booking him like the serious bad ass that he is and I'm hopeful that will translate to their future for all that is good in professional wrestling.

Thing is....even though Rollins isn't the size of Lesnar...he's pretty much the same size as their new golden boy Roman Reigns... Yea Reigns is a little bigger, but it's not like comparing Colin Delaney to Ryback

Can you imagine what Balor's body-paint would look like for Wrestlemania?

He's going to bury you mercilessly, Finn. Your usually excellent reading and comprehension skills missed the very first reply in the thread this time.
