The first link says its likely fake because WB doesnt own the domain name so it probably is.....I personally just cant look forward to any Batman with Ben Affleck in it. Bale was one of the best Batman ever IMO and I felt it was going to be hard in general to follow his and Nolan's Batman. By sticking a guy who I feel at best is mediocre as Batman, just has failure written all over it to me. Thats a whole other topic though. Ill still watch it and withhold judgement till then.

I'm hoping this is fake. Even though I love comics, I'm pretty burnt out on comic book movies.

This would be good news. If you want this movie to succeed, you want this.

Has to be fake really......although it may be just the ticket to bail out the chronic overcrowding these movies are bound to suffer from by obeying DC/WBs "anti Marvel success formula"

Seems odd that they would split them

This has been debunked. John Campea of AMC seems to think they might move the release date up and try to sneak the movie out in 2015 though.
Also, industry insider El Mayimbe (who I always believe is right until proven wrong) reports the BvS teaser is likely to be attached to Jupiter Ascending, which hits on Feb 6th.

Sneak it out in 2015? seems likely that the movie is ready to go then.....lots of people said the 2016 release date was a knee jerk panic move to get it out of the crowded 2015 schedule.....and that it would comfortably have been ready for Summer 2015. I'm looking forward to the teaser....anything to make me feel better about this movie which I should be insanely excited for.....but find myself very "meh" on.

Too much to cram in one movie. IMO, I guess. Well, that's probably a valid point. If it's bad though and the first part stinks the joint up, they don't get to rebound with a second movie that could potentially be better. They would essentially be going all-in with the one film idea hoping that everyone likes it. I do think, from what we've heard, it sounds like a lot going on in one film though. I guess we'll see. In my experience, splitting the films hurts the property more than it helps. It's usually just an obvious money grab.

You can't be serious? Are you just talking Affleck's specific performance or any movie he's ever been in? Argo, The Town, and Gone Girl were all ing amazing movies and Affleck was phenomenal in them. If we're talking pure entertainment value, School Ties, Dazed and Confused, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Good Will Hunting, Armageddon, Dogma, Boiler Room, Sum of All Fears, Smokin' Aces, I mean you can't tell me you've found NONE of those movies entertaining. He's been in some great movies and I think the Daredevil Director's Cut is a sensational comic book movie, even though the original cut is the version most criticized. Affleck has the chin for Batman too. I think he's going to be great and I genuinely don't know why people have freaked out over his casting. The guy looks just like Bruce Wayne. Have you seen Hollywoodland? He's spectacular in that flick imo. To each their own. Affleck has zero to do with the concerns I have leading into this whole BvS and JLA stuff. I honestly wish we were getting a stand alone Affleck-Batman film with Leto as Joker and Robbie as Harley, instead of all this team-up bullsh*t. I don't really need to see an abundance of Batman and Superman within the same Verse, especially forcefully and right out of the gate in inorganic fashion.

Hit the nail on the head, I'm super excited to see Ben take his portrayal of Batman/Bruce Wayne.

There are two types of people in this world.. People that enjoy Ben Affleck and people who enjoy Matt Damon.
I enjoy both.

There are two types of people in this world.. People that enjoy Ben Affleck and people who enjoy Matt Damon. I enjoy both. That's a fair statement. I suspect a lot of people feel about Affleck like I feel about Damon (that he's boring and generally makes uninteresting movies). Affleck might be my favorite actor going today, and that was before the Batman news broke.
