Thought I would give this a shot, if anybody likes any of these genres they could contribute if they like, I just want to see how it would go.

Oh man, glad to see this thread. Been bumping a bit of Cypress Hill lately, with a little Bone Thugs to come. Anybody ever hear the battle pop-rap albums of Frankie and Eamon? For the more obscure, Lil' Troy or how about Dynamite Hack's play on Boyz in the Hood?

Kendrick Lamar's Backseat Freestyle tends to get stuck in my head often.

I would never profess to be an aficionado of Rap/Hip Hop but I do love to listen to N.W.A, Run DMC and Eminem among a bunch of others. I feel though that while there are some that do it really well and I have endless respect for those artists that are among the elite it's also a genre that lends itself to an ocean of garbage simply because of how easy it is for someone to just make a beat on their computer and "rap" over it. It's taken away a lot from the genre I think. Just listened to this actually

Anyone share my unpopular opinion that Kendrick Lamar's Section.80 is better than Good Kid, m.A.A.d City?

Anyone share my unpopular opinion that Kendrick Lamar's Section.80 is better than Good Kid, m.A.A.d City? Yeah! No ing doubt. Section.80 has Keisha's song, Ronald Reagan Era, HiiiPower, ADHD Good Kid, M.A.a.D city had decent tracks though like Backseat Freestyle, Poetic Justice, Bitch don't kill my vibe, Swimming Pools.

Kanye West plAyed some of his new album at Def Jam HQ the other day, there is a song on there with Drake and the Weeknd. Supposedly Rihanna, Ty Dolla and McCartney on his next single too. Ty said the video was already shot. 2015 gonna be a great year for rap.

Rap has been one of the biggest aspects of my life for as long as a I can remember. Most of my tastes aren't going to be popular with this board as they're extremely mainstream and not really wrestling-fan friendly lol
