I miss Nate Dogg so much. He had the most angelic voice but his lyricism and flow complimented it so well. His involvement in songs like Regulate and Ain't No Fun are what made the songs tbh. No doubt bro he made songs hits - he just had that quality in him and his voice was just so easy to recognize. A prime example of how much beefier a song can be with Nate on it.
I just KNOW everyone who reads this thread will eat this sh*t right up man. If your a fan of Big Pun I'd recommend watching the whole Interview as this is his son and he talks alot of things but if you wanna listen to the freestyle its at 10:20
Chris Rivers is dope. Those Wonderland of Misery mixtapes are tough. Crazy how much his voice sounds like Pun. I've been listening to hip hop since the mid 80's. I'm not really feeling the rappers of today for the most part. There are a couple of new school cats I like, but not many

You got me curious.. And you satisfied my curiosity. Definition of a rap flow has me bobbing my head like crazy.

I downloaded A$AP Rocky's album last night, I haven't got a chance to listen to it yet but I'm really excited.
There is an insane amount of dislike for Kendrick's 'To Pimp A Butterfly'.. People really dislike anything outside of their tiny little safety box that the industry has created for the hip hop genre. Kendrick pumped fresh air into the game and did it in a very poetic and creative way.. Kendrick is the most innovative and talented hip hop artist since the mid 90's.. He has so much substance and meaning in every song. He is the definition of 'artist'.
And regardless of the negative, I fully expect Kendrick Lamar to be considered one of the all time greats when his time is up.
