Brandon Lee in "The Crow"..... I cannot even put his performance, or what that movie means to me, in words. Legendary. I loved all the Crows, but BL is the Crow.
Matthew Lillard and Michael Goorjian in "SLC Punk" .... Steve O and Bob.... they transported me to that day and time (nod to Lillard in "Endless Bummer" too)
Kieran Culkin - Igby Goes Down .... dude was Igby. You felt his pain.
Tong Po from Kickboxer 1-3 - if I saw him today, I might still be a bit scared.
Sasha Mitchell - Kickboxer 2-3 - so underrated. Better than Van Dam in that series. The story lines opened his acting ability up, while showcasing his fighting.
Michael Dudikoff and David Bradley in the "American Ninja" series... you cannot have one without the other there. Each script was for them as the actor.
Bolo Yeung - Shootfighter
Pat Morita - Karate Kid
Mark Dacascos - Only the Strong ... the original capoiera maiestre l... bananaway bananaway banana
Edward Furlong - T2 ... I wanted to be him.
Luke Perry as Dylan in 90210 .... I know it is a Tv show, but him and James Vanderbeek in Dawson's Creek were seriously characters that were inspirational to me.
There are many more, including romantic comedy actors, and some that are just themselves (Mewes and Smith as Jay and Silent Bob, and the rest of the Viewaskewniverse; Cast of Friday, and others alike.), but these will do for now. Good thread man.

Guy Pearce was incredible in L.A. Confidential. The role of Detective Ed Exley was PERFECT for him.

I really got into and liked Gyllenhaals character in Prisoners. Very dark character who clearly has a bad past. I wanna know his back story.

Tom Hanks in Forrest gump, you can really empathise with his character and feel for him, you can't hate his performance.

Daniel Day Lewis as Abraham Lincoln in Lincoln.
Tim Curry in Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Just about everything Gary Oldman does. Dracula, Zorg and Sirius Black stand out to me the most.

I think he and the movie get too much needless hate because of the purity of the character and film. It's just a sweet movie that has endless rewatchability.

Daniel Day Lewis in Gangs of New York as the RABID anti Irish Bill The Butcher.
Being a proud Irishman DDL said he struggled with some of the lines but my God did he ever become the best thing in that movie quickly.......

Absolutely shocked that nobody has said Donald Pleasence as Sam Loomis.

Jake Gyllenhaal in Nightcrawler, easily the creepiest person I've seen in a movie in quite some time.
Not a movie: But the cast of Fargo the tv series. Brilliantly well done.

Peter Sellers in Dr. Strangelove. The man plays three totally different characters in the same movie but you don't even notice. He was just as good, if not better, in Being There. One of the greatest for sure.
