The Shield + Cesaro + Heyman Sounds much more like a Dangerous Alliance recreation.... which would be pretty bad ass actually!!

Rollins, Ziggler, Cesaro and Charlotte and Ric Flair as manager.
Yes, I put Charlotte as a member and not a manager or valet. It could do a lot for the diva's division and hopefully make it more like NXT with competitive wrestling matches. Plus it would make it more unique.

The only role Dolph Ziggler should have in this if the Sting role - up and coming babyface who feuds with the group then becomes a temporary member (while still remaining a fact in a group of heels) only to be betrayed by them and then engage in an eternal feud with the Ric Flair role.

No one could replace Flair because everyone on the active roster looks younger than 83.

I don't dislike Axel, but I certainly wouldn't put him on the same level as Windham. I DO dislike Axel and certainly wouldn't put him anywhere NEAR Windham. He is an absolute charisma vacuum.....and he has showed me sweet FA inside the ring either......and before the "we love Axel" crew turns up, YES I have seen his stuff in NXT. hes a good hand.....nothing more nothing less and certainly not GREAT at anything. he gets a TON of love because he is Hennig's kid......but it takes more than that to impress me I'm afraid. he doesn't belong in any conversation pertaining to a 4H reincarnation.

I'm no Charlotte fan, but this would be perfect for her. They're trying so HARD to force the "I'm Ric Flair's daughter and that's my only character trait" so I can see this working.

Ric Flair (manager; JJ Dillon role) Dolph Ziggler (leader; Ric Flair role) Kevin Owens (NXT upstart; enforcer, Arn Anderson role) Curtis Axel (other half of the tag team, Tully Blanchard role) Antonio Cesaro (midcarder; Lex Luger role)
Now this would be an ideal Horsemen type group of the future when you think about it, that is if they were to ever re-create the Horsemen but no one could ever re-create The Horsemen but if they did then this would be a perfect Horsemen group

We had Evolution and I think that's as close as we're ever going to get and the closest we need to get. What I wouldn't mind seeing is a new Dangerous Alliance. Nowadays, I think that would work much, much better.

Using the current roster, I would go with: Brock Lesnar Wade Barrett Rusev Seth Rollins They already have the Championships Title Belts, all they need are suits. Plus Paul Heyman would make a better manager. Evolution is the closest weβre going to get to the WWE version of the 4 Horsemen. What about a new Evolution, with a little new twist!? The Past β Triple H The Present Past β Brock Lesnar The Present Future - Seth Rollins The Future β Wade Barrett, and Rusev Wait, what?? HAHA!!

Ziggler The Miz Tyson Kidd Ceasro Ziggler could be the Flair of the group, Cesaro could be the Arn and Tyson Kidd could be the Tully and Miz could be the Windham or Luger or Ole

Trying to recreate something never actually works. It always just comes off as a cheap imitation of it's former self.
nWo reboots never worked. WCW/ECW invasion didn't work. ECW reboot didn't work.
That's the thing about trying to recreate something....the original always developed organically. It never came off as trying too hard to be something it wasn't, because it was an original, so nobody knew how it was supposed to go so they just allowed it to develop. Reboots and recreations always come off as trying too hard to be the original, when the original never seemed to have to try at all. It just came naturally.
Another thing that always dooms reboots and recreations, is that everyone has a really fuzzy, skewed and nostalgic view on things from he past. Like everyone pines for the Attitude Era because we are so far removed from it that nobody really remembers all the ridiculous and awful things that happened during those times. Yeah, you got the primes of Austin, Rock, Kane, Taker, Foley, Angle and others....but there was a lot of garbage mixed up in there too.
Reboots and recreations are current, and they always get crapped on when being compared to something from the past that people remember as being only good because the memory is so far in the past that only the good memories rise to the top.
So, to end my dissertation here, (lol)....instead of trying to be the new __________ or the next ___________ , why don't we hope that all wrestlers succeed in being the FIRST of whatever it is that they do, so that they create their own legacy, rather than failing at riding the coat tails of something from years ago.
