That's probably the most ridiculous thing I've ever read. Whether you like them or not, the Outlaws are highly regarded as one of the best teams of all time for a reason. They are one of the most successful tag teams of all time. They are one of the most over tag teams of all time. However, I can name plenty of tag teams who had better matches because the Outlaws weren't great in the ring. I can name less than five of their matches that I enjoyed. Because you like them so much, you fail to see my side when it comes to PURELY in ring work and call it ridiculous. I think that considering their in ring work to be great is ridiculous. Will Kidd and Cesaro ever be a Hall of Fame tag team or have the resume that the Outlaws have? Hell to the no. But are Kidd and Cesaro better in ring workers? You bet your sweet ass. The Shield, Usos, Brotherhood, Hardy Boyz, Edge & Christian, Dudley Boyz, Demolition, Hart Foundation, World's Greatest Tag Team, Los Guerreros, Jeri-Show, the Brain Busters, and the Steiner Brothers are all examples of teams that were better then the Outlaws from an in-ring standpoint only. But I'm sure this post will just be considered "ridiculous" even though I'm giving the Outlaws credit for what they do best. No wrestler gets over unless they entertain people in the ring. The Outlaws have had dozens of great matches, hell even last year gave Cody just about the best matches of his entire career. They weren't a gimmick team like the Dudley's that had to constantly work specialty matches to stay over, they went out there and ran rings around the competition every single time. The reason they were (and still are) so damn over is due to the fact that they're a complete package team. They deliver spectacularly in every area that they need to. Part of being a good worker is being a good entertainer, which is why Cesaro and Kidd are both pretty appawling in their own right. If they can't get a crowd to pop, and keep their interest, what worth do they have? None. Kidd can do all the flips and dips he wants, but until he breaks out of his Dean Malenko syndrome, he's just going to stay as one of the most forgettable performers of all time. Apart from one or two of those teams, The Outlaws were far better.

You claiming that the Outlaws gave Cody Rhodes just about the best matches of his career is one of the most laughable things I have ever read on this board and I may never be able to take you seriously again. I mean, I already had a tough time with it, but I'm done here. You feel your way, I feel mine. I'm not posting about this anymore.

Am i the only one who doesnt really mind the way they are booking The Ascension so far? If they go the right way with the Rumble, i think it has made sense so far. Young team comes in, takes on some local jobber teams whilst saying they are the best around. Get people hot, some legendary team squares up to them and then they get dominated. Shows that The Ascension are maybe as good as they say they are. But dear good, look the hieroglyph facepaint... looks like a couple of girls with winged eyeliner

No. Ascension should dominate the Outlaws at the Rumble, and then they should beat a different team at Mania. And I don't even particularly like The Ascension. I feel the same way 100%. LOVE the NAO but their time has passed.....they should be flattened at the RR.

Neither does beating random nobodies on a weekly basis. I agree, but I prefer they squash jobbers for a few weeks instead of having 17 rematches with Los Matadores. It also does more for them than losing to the Outlaws. This is not a case where "just being in the ring with those guys" is enough to help them. The Outlaws are not that kind of team. Well at this point the Outlaws are really no threat, if at first they upset the Acension at the Rumble and then the Acension can go over the Outlaws at Fast Lane. At this point the Outlaws have a name but when was the last time they really won anything. They got squashed by the Shield at Mania and wasn't so special.

They got destroyed last night for a cheap pop. That segment had potential. I don't like the Ascension but I really didn't like that segment either except for the APA spot, which was rather cool. I liked the APA spot, too. I feel like they set the Ascension up to fail on the main roster since day one. Being undermined on commentary. Comparing themselves to classic teams. Being beat up by old timers. And honestly being in the ring with several of those guys made them look physically soo small, which equals not "dominant" looking. They just kinda look like dorks... And it didn't have to be that way if they were handled differently.

They're already ruining them anyways with the lame ass catch phrases and constant burial on commentary.

I swear the board is as split on the Ascension as they are on Roman Reigns.

The Ascenion is one of my favorite things going today
Some people see last night as a burial. I see it as a huge stepping stone. Viktor was standing in the middle of a raw ring cutting a promo on Kevin Nash and Scott Hall. That image made me say "WHOA"
Then the outlaws and APA came out too? They were standing the the ring with three legendary factions of the industry.
And with all the Physicality between NAO and Ascension, it seems obvious that the two teams will eventually wrestle. I personally cannot friggin wait

I don't care for the Ascension, but I'm all for trying to revitalize the tag divison. Having NAO going over them does the exact opposite.

when was the last time they really won anything. Remember that time less than a year ago when they won the titles? Remember last year when everyone hated them here for winning the titles? I specifically remember people on here saying that a 40-something year old and a 50 year old shouldn't have won the tag titles. I meant to say when did anyone care that they won something?

No, I do remember when a few little whiny bitches complained online about it like they do about Undertaker, Brock, Rock, Cena and everything else under the sun. But the Outlaws maintained popularity with the non-whiny bitches.

I really don't like the Outlaws and I LOATHED that they took the belts off the Brotherhood. However, to say that nobody cared about their title win is incorrect. I may not like them, but I have sense and am, in no way, a "whiny little bitch."

(Kev y so salty?)
I'm all for seeing the NAO again, I was down for their title win last year. Why not Miz and MizDow instead of Ascension? Switch the Ascension into the title picture

My whiny bitch statement was referring to the people who are like: "Oh wow I can't wait for Brock to come back". "Ugh, I wish Brock would just go away". "OMFG THE ROCK IS BACK" "I wish the Rock would just stay away". "I CAN'T WAIT FOR STING TO FINALLY DEBUT". "Sting is old, I wish he'd go away".
