a record of who's been made so far, name-wise. I'm not going into every single attire or outfit, just looking at it from the actual wrestlers who were made so far,and are still to come:
Hulk Hogan Ric Flair Macho Man Randy Savage Andre The Giant Ultimate Warrior Shawn Michaels Bret Hart Undertaker Stone Cold Steve Austin The Rock Rowdy Roddy Piper Kevin Nash/Diesel Triple H X-Pac Road Dogg Billy Gunn Mankind/Cactus Jack Goldust Hawk Animal Marty Jannety Bruno Sammartino Ax Smash Crush Mr. Perfect Yokozuna Lex Luger Sting Razor Ramon Booker T Iron Sheik Nikolai Volkoff Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndorff Junk Yard Dog Miss Elizabeth Trish Stratus King Kong Bundy Arn Anderson Tully Blanchard Diamond Dallas Page Ricky The Dragon Steamboat Chris Jericho Million Dollar Man I.R.S. Doink The Clown Earthquake Kerry Von Erich Kevin Von Erich Hillbilly Jim Terry Funk Jimmy Superfly Snuka Ravishing Rick Rude Dusty Rhodes Sgt. Slaughter Big Boss Man Akeem Papa Shango Bushwhacker Luke Bushwhacker Butch Cowboy Bob Orton Big Van Vader Jake The Snake Roberts Hacksaw Jim Duggan George The Animal Steel The British Bulldog Brian Pillman Kamala Rey Mysterio Jerry The King Lawler Kane Rob Van Dam ( TECHNICALLY has current figures, but they work really well as Flashbacks too, so I'm including him) Edge Christian Rikishi The Model Rick Martel Bam Bam Bigelow Eddie Guerrero John Bradshaw Layfield Brock Lesnar Farooq
.... that's all I can think of off the top of my head. pretty damned impressive in 6 year, don't you think?! factor in a lot of guys got multiple figures over the years, the number of Legends/FB figures we got is pretty staggering.

I don't think so. MDT has only gotten better since they started making WWE figures. Scans, attire, and accessories have never been better from them.
I have full faith they'll only continue to uo their game and continually make (and sign) more Legends and Flashbacks.

Not for me. The big guys are great, but it's those unexpected surprises that make the roster for me.
Got quite a few grail characters: Barry Windham, Nikita Koloff, Tito Santana, Jeff Jarrett, Psycho Sid, Goldberg, Kurt Angle, Shane Douglas, Sabu and Owen
But I'm more excited about the possibilities of more tag teams being worked in and there's a slew of grail tag teams (Midnight Express, Hart Foundation, Steiner Bros, Harlem Heat, Nasty Boys, British Bulldogs, Hardyz and Dudleyz, Doom, Rock N Roll Express)that would have me just as excited as last year's announcements.

Now that we have Hogan, Warrior, Savage and Sting (the first official Sting figure not released yet) I'm guessing the next five years will be filled with their various looks and combinations of them as there are probably at least four Stings they could easily make without even getting to his current look. And yes, I suspect we will see a HHH/Sting Battle Pack next year based on what should happen at Wrestlemania. So if the OP intended to say that the next five years or so we can simply expect more of the same then that is what we are in for here. . kinda what I'm trying to say, yeah. I mean apex in that we've reached the highest point it can go with collective fan enthusiasm. I'm very excited for Earthquake, and I.R.S. that we were told is coning too. but it's not on the level of OMFG!!! HOGAN!!!! FLAIR!!!! STING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! guess I'm trying to ask, have we reached the apex of figure announcements that blow everyone out of the water? that make you overly excited and crying with joy? no doubt we will get plenty of great figures over the next few years ( and beyond that,if they resign with Mattel again), but for me,I think it's gonna be real hard to top the announcements of the Legends we've gotten in 2014 and coming in 2015. there's a few that would come close ( Goldberg, Owen, Angle ) for me, but I feel like the pro wrestling "Mount Rushmore" of figure collecting has been reached, and everything coming after this point are just cherries on top of the proverbial WWE banana split that's already been made. The only thing remotely close left to a *huge* signing is Owen Hart and I don't believe that will ever happen. That's the only time I can see the internet really breaking and most of that comes from him not being made by Jakks and the thoughts that he'd never be made by Mattel either more than his superstar status. Don't get me wrong, I'd buy Raven, Vampiro, Sabu and others mentioned in this thread without hesitation. I am not a classics collector by any means but I would buy them without hesitation, as well as others on a short list. I could see La Parka being a somewhat big deal as he's a huge star in Mexico and never got a figure in the states because he only spent a short time in WCW. But really the top three names had to always be Hogan, Savage and Warrior. Sting is on the top of the list because he has an appealing character and he was never made by Jakks when they held the WWE license. (Though yes there are now RA and DA Sting figures, so having Mattel only seems fitting) What I love most about Mattel and their making these figures is that I'm able to buy someone like Brian Pillman, my all-time favorite wrestler, yet also have the current superstars. I collect with my son so we stay pretty current, but isn't it nice to have a modern version of Hulk Hogan? A modern version of Sting seems inevitable. And even if they don't step into a WWE ring to wrestle again I'd still like modern versions of Ric Flair and Mick Foley. This is in no way a knock at either company but Mattel is just capable of doing things that Jakks isn't and a lot of that is simply the timing of it all. Warrior went into the Hall of Fame under Mattel's watch, Savage is going in under their watch as well, Hogan came back (Though he came back and left more than once during the reigns of Jakks as well) and even Sting finally came to WWE for the first time ever when Mattel had the action figure license. So it doesn't just feel special to me for the action figures themselves (though they are a big part of it) but just the general idea of what's going on in WWE right now or what has happened under the Mattel license. I just wish Kurt Angle would come back for a Mattel figure.

Owen would be the next biggest announcement or reveal Mattel could give fans at this point.
Guys like Goldberg, Angle, Studd, Graham, ECW alumni are all just a matter of time. Almost expected.

Well considering we have gotten the bigger names such as Sting, Hulk Hogan, Flair, Andre. I would like to see a few mid card characters made. I think the last big names are (atleast for me) are Big John Studd, Bobby Heenan, The Anvil, and Goldberg, now I think we may see Owen Hart before the contract is up. Bret Hart stated in a interview about a year or so ago, he was working with Martha to see what could be done, also Owens children are of age now and I think they may help matters. I'm sure they could use the money for college.
If he is made though, Mattel will have the greatest line of wrestling figures made. Considering we got everyone really important in one figure style. Now the others I would like to see, are of course the following,
1. Magnum TA (check the suggestion board I'm trying to get a kick starter for his figure) 2. Greg Gagne (very unlikely I know) 3. The Freebirds or atleast Hayes. 4. Harley Race 5. Don Marco 6. Crush (regular release) 7. Koko B. Ware 8. Sid Justice 9. The Dudley's 10. The Hardy's 11. Test 12. Ken Shamrock

When I have a Mattel 'First Time in the Line!' Flashback Yeti on my shelf we will have reached the apex.

I don't believe we have. The WWE line (Elite esp.) can only get better. The additions of ECW guys like 3D, Sabu, Rhino, Raven, Jerry Lynn, Mike Awesome, FB Jericho, Sandman would probably raise the bar (for me anyways).

Arguably, we've now reached the peak in terms of acquiring some of the biggest Holy Grail/Impossible names at once...Hogan, Flair, Sting, and Razor Ramon were pipe dreams a year ago. Also, fan favorites like APA, Classic HBK, Earthquake, and the NAO have gone from "I wonder when they'll ever get made" to "Which attire should we get?", which is awesome. Personally, I'm thrilled to receive Classic Sgt Slaughter and Inverted Kane soon!
However, the well is nowhere near to being dry for Mattel and it's not like the next couple of years are limited to only Hogan, Warrior, Sting, Flair, HBK, and Savage variants. As seen in many of the wish lists posted, there are still plenty of memorable wrestlers left to make and I'm always excited to read about new Flashbacks announcements. My wish is that Mattel could acquire the rights to match the Classic LJN/Hasbro rosters, along with the best Attitude Era names from the Jakks years, in Elite format!

Made the mistake of watching much better times than the current product. In preparation for this year's Royal Rumble, I viewed 2001 and 2002's Rumble PPVs on the network. There's a bunch of big names and looks from this era we have yet to see from Mattel and a bunch we'll never see:
2000-01 hHh Kurt Angle Chris Jericho in lightning tights Chris Benoit who was phenomenal at this time The Dudleys Chyna Ivory Perry Saturn Dean Malenko Latino Heat Eddie
