I think the delay on cases right now is due to the strike at the ports...hoping it gets resolved soon so all y'all can get your figures...crazy that trish is warming, all I ever see is warrior

Can't really blame Mattel for wanting to play it safe. Business-wise, out of the 4, which one do you think has the most potential to shelfwarm? Trish, by far. Her elite 23 figure was horrendously poor-selling. Every Smyths still had hundreds of them months after release, I think they eventually sold when they cleared them down to £2.99.

Snagged two austins today. There was still one left and tons of warriors. No Trish or Sarge in sight

I've barely found this series at all, only 4 Austins and 4 Warriors at one store. Since people started finding them a month ago, right now it kinda sucks. January always sucks for figures, but the one new product line, the HOF series, has thus far been distributed quite crappily.

I've been to 4 targets today. Saw 300 warriors 200 Austin's 100 Trish...ZERO SLAUGHTERS! What is the deal here? Very frustrating. Is this a short pack situation or are the ebay pirates scooping Sarge up everywhere to jack him up to $55 on ebay? Btw, *sorry if this topic has been threaded already* That must suck... All my local Targets have -300 Warriors, -200 Austins, -100 Trish and -ZERO Slaughters.. The struggle is real in FL.

I've only ever seen 1 Sarge and still haven't found a Trish. In fact none of the Target's here where i live (San Fernando Valley, CA) have any Hall of Fame figures right now.

Slaughter is just one per case and there are STILL people who wanna stick to the "damn scalpers" trope. As if someone who actually wanted it for themselves can't happen upon it. I bought the last Slaughter the weekend these were first sighted. I didn't sell it. It does happen, folks!
Anyway, I dig Warrior oodles, but PJ is right that Slaughter is the sleeper of the set. It's a kick ass figure and that coupled with its one-per-case status is resulting in this drought of Sarges.

He does seem to be the hardest to find in the set. Trish is supposed to be just as limited, but I've seen multiples of her at retail and no Slaughters. I gave in and bought one from Evil Bay. He was $29 + $9 for shipping. More than I wanted to pay, but I figured if It keeps me from having to constantly call Target store or constantly check the Inventory Checker, and keeps me from having to drive an hour to check in Target stores ( only to come up empty handed), I could justify paying a little more. It saved me from a lot of headache trying to track him down. Would the spelling error on the package have anything to do with it? Maybe they produced so many and then caught it. Then while they were fixing it, maybe they did some cases without Slaughter ( because people have reported cases without him). Probably not, but just a thought. Amazing how no one noticed that spelling error. More of a spell it as you say it lol.

Yeah, someone wasn't thinking on that one.
That's probably not the delay anyways, I'm sure they would have just made a sticker for them until they got the box design changed. Unless they were already taped up in the cases and the guy that that was supposed to do the stickers was like 'I'm not opening all those cases for one sticker' lol

mase307 sells Sgt. Slaughter (and the rest of the Hall of Fame series) for $27 a piece. They're $21 at my Target and you save on traveling and disappointment. Sometimes a few extra bucks is way worth it. I couldn't agree more. I just received my HOF Trish from mase307 today. Target, the tracker, and the Port of Los Angeles can all bite me! Also, hit up jnavo217 if anyone is looking for them. You'll most likely get them at a great price.

I used the target inventory site, it said they had 8 in stock, got there and they weren't on the shelves, so I had the lady at customer service call somebody to bring the case out. I picked out the set of 4 and that was it. I will use that site more often to save time/gas/headaches.

I got a tip from a buddy that the Target on the other side of town had the figures in stock, and I work close to the other one in this city. I wasn't even planning on taking a lunch, but saw the text and decided "maybe I am hungry after all". I got Slaughter and am very pleased. Best one of the set. I think the Warrior is pretty awesome, but Slaughter has such character and we haven't gotten a million of him yet.

I think what it boils down to is that Slaughter is 1 per case in a store exclusive series, so that makes him even harder to come by than a regular Flashback.
Now I'm not sure why Trish is easier to find.

I am sure Trish is easier to find because she is a female and I am sure many collectors who have the E24 figure will pass on the HOF figure like I have done.

I was very lucky to find 1 each of Trish, Warrior, and Austin at a Target in Brooklyn about a week before they were even supposed to hit the shelves, and my buddy got me a Slaughter for cost, since he works at Target.
