Hi guys. Do you think Mattel will ever make a Gangrel figure? I was waiting for him to be released in the Classic Superstars line and they never went through with it. Do you think he may make an appearance? And do you see any other guys like the APA, D-LO, etc being made? Thanks!

The APA is in an upcoming elite series. I doubt Gangrel or D-Lo does.

apa is being made. D-lo should get made. I'd love gangrel but fear he's far down the list. I know that the name gangrel cannot be used because someone else has a trademark on it.
I really want the acolytes now that we are a getting Bradshaw and farooq.

I would love to see Gangrel along with guys like Berzerker, Adrian Adonis, Bastion Booger and debut Flash Funk but I dont see any of them happening.

Gangrel actually talked about this on Roddy Piper's podcast. He said that Jakks tried and Mattel said they can't do it. I guess when Gangrel was first signed the WWE had to lease the name Gangrel. Then he was released and they never went back lto lease it. I guess the company that owns the name is super greedy too because when Gangrel came back in 06 they sued WWE again. I don't see why they can release a figure with his real name and just call him the vampire. THat company doesn't own the Gangrel character just the name.

It would look amazing. They just need to call it Vampire Warrior, or Brood Leader. I'd release it just as a middle finger to that company.

I really miss the good ol days when it was Adrian Adonis and Lou Albano, Andre the Giant, Bob Backlund, Blue Meanie, Berzerker, Bam Bam Bigelow, Junkyard Dog and I miss Conquistador and and I miss Spike Dudley, Dory Funk... Flash Funk... The Hoss Funk and Terry Funk.
It was about the wrestling back then when it was Hillbilly Jim and Kabuki and Jerry The King Lawler... Mantaur and Manu...
I forgot to mention Leaping Lanny Poffo and One Man Gang...

i doubt we will see Val Venis either, i know he was made into Jakks Classics line but it's a damn guarantee that mattel won't make a child's toy about guy who is suppose to be a pornstar.
