I am pretty sure the price will be 120-140 considering the Jakks Elimination Chamber and Hell in a Cell RSR were only 120 when they were released. The issue is these should have been $50 accessory packs each... $100 for both cages minus the ring. Now we have to spend upwards of $120-$150 each. That's about $300 just to get the two cages, and us people who already bought the ASR get screwed out of an additional $70+... Wtf are we going to do with THREE ASR's? I barely have space for 1

I'll be buying mine online. I can't IMAGINE how many scumbags will open, take the cage and return.

can someone tell me what the classic bundle will consist of..??.. will it be the same wct asr ring previously released just with the blue cage, blue posts, navy turnbuckle pads w/ old school logo, red&white&blue ropes and the 2 aprons we saw ( WM2, WrestleFest)..
which seems like a waste, i dont want anything to do with a newer looking ring so DEAR WCT / Mattel / Ringside i would like the large / elite / all scale ring looking just like it did at Wrestlemania 6 in 1990
i dont not care for the WM2 or Wrestlefest aprons... i want the apron from WM6, royal blue with large WM logo, if we can get more than one, then i would want Purple royal rumble, and blue summerslam 90-97..
u wanna increase sales add one or two exclusive figures.. like mean gene with a Hulk or Bret or Savage then with the package containing the newer steel cage, maybe rock & austin, or cena & sum1
this news slightly confuses me, heres to hoping we get the full plan at toy fair...
atleast i can get my red & white & blue ropes from Ringside Collectibles.. my buddy got em and they are perfect on his ESR, allows you to pose WARRIOR on the 2nd rope with both ic & world belts.. or roman reigns pointin to some sign if u wanna live in the roman empire

I was skeptical on buying the cage already but that pretty much confirms that they won't. Can't Mattel give them permission?

LOL, why are people blaming Mattel?
Mattel stated in the past that WWE wants rings to be included with all their play sets.
WWE thinks that all customers buying a playset wants a ring included instead of a mom for example buying a playset and finds out later that it doesn't come with a ring. I can see WWE doing the same thing to WCT.
I'll buy the Classic Cage playset if it retails for $120 at the most... Otherwise, don't see WCT selling a lot of these unless it was Christmas everyday.

Something told me to buy my parts separately, elsewhere. I'm glad I did, although those navy turnbuckle pads look fantastic.

It's cute that they think they're gonna sell a Hell In The Cell cage like this now.

Just listened to Matt Goldberg's interview with Jeremy Padawer. Basically, they weren't given the green light to do accessory packs. It truly is bad news but all we can do is just choose if we want the cage, to choose which one we would want. For me, Yes I would LOVE to have a current cage but I gotta go with the blue barred set. Just more of a fan of the old school ring. (If they run at $125 a piece like Jeremy said, I'm only getting one lol)

$125 would be pretty stiff. A regular ASR is $80 msrp, so $45 more for the blue cage? I think I might just make one out of dowel rods and paint it blue until there's a price drop.

this is bogus!!!
i get why wwe would want a ring in every pack in store but can't there be online exclusive accessory packs.
there aren't enough online exclusives. huge market to be tapped

I get that but if Mattel told WWE it was ok by them, then why wouldn't WWE give them permission? It doesn't make a lot of business sense. It'd make money for everybody. I can't find a logical reason why WWE itself would say no, you have to release a ring with it, too. A $125 playset is going to rot on shelves even worse than the rings.

As Jeremy explained, it's also a matter of retail space.
Where are they going to put them? WCT doesn't have much retail space now as it is and Mattel, rightfully so, isn't going to give them any of theirs.
Retail drives more of the decisions on what and how things get made than you would think. While it's never been said, I think Mattel, in part, made the Elite boxes smaller so that they would fit on the retail pegs better. The old boxes didn't fit Walmart's resets very well when they changed them last year and I'm sure Walmart let them know.

I'm still down for one of of the current cage and two classic! Can not wait for the classic set to come out. Only getting two so I can display one with out the cage.

I might still pick up the classic one since I dont own the Mattel ring, but if the price tag it outrageous, Ill be sticking to my Jakks rings. Ive got 3 already plus 2 classic cages, EC and HIAC so Im good.

I'm glad I haven't bought one yet. I figured this would happen.
