Hey guys,
Just finished watching Bill Burr on his last show on this tour of Australia at the Sydney Opera House...
My brother is a HUGE fan of his and I wanted to surprise him by getting tickets to see him...a near sellout, and we got pretty good tickets...
It was really great to see him, he was funny, and it was a good gig, but admittedly not great...(just my opinion)...awesome to see him regardless...
Just wondered if anyone else had seen him and your thoughts on him as a comic?
Cheers.

I'm a big Bill Burr fan. "Why Do I Do This?" is one of my favorite comedy specials.

You should check out his podcast if you don't already. He's the man.

You should check out his podcast if you don't already. He's the man. He's got the single greatest solo show of all time, no doubt. Burr is hilarious, one if the top 2 or 3 in the world in my opinion. His body of work is incredible.

Never saw him live but I'm a big fan. I feel like he's a highly underrated comic.
He has a great philosophy about not having his own show. He compared it to owning a boat. He basically said everyone likes being on a boat, but you really don't want to be the guy that has a boat. You want to be friends with the guy that has the boat. Every so often you get invited to hang out on the boat and have a good time. Then you get to leave and you don't have to worry about the maintenance and upkeep of the boat.

Bill Burr is hysterical. His bit on why he can't talk to kids anymore for fear of being a pedo is one of my favorite comedy bits

I find it amazing that one of the first comments is just 'You should check out his podcast'.
Nothing wrong with it, I just find it amazing...

Haven't seen any of his podcast but I've seen several of his stand-up & the dude's awesome. One of my top fives though I honestly don't pay attention to a lot of stand up comedians. I guess the fact that he is one of the only ones I do says something.

I've only heard him when he made an appearance or two on The Lazlow Show, which was hilarious.

Had a chance to see him about a year ago when a friend bought me a ticket but ended up having to work.
Sucks I didn't get to see him.

If anyone played GTA IV (and the Lost and Damned expansion pack) they'd have recognised him as the voice of Lost member Jason.

If we were to make a movie about the members of this board, I would have Bill Burr play Chip. Burr is great. I first caught him on Comedy Central Presents. Then throughout the years following I would always catch him on Opie & Anthony. Here's a 90 minute best of clip of Bill Burr on the show.

Bill Burr did a show in my college cafeteria back in 2004.....so did Zack Galifianakis in 2006 before he got popular.
Bill Burr was really funny. He's always been one of my favorites. Galifianakis bombed and started making racial insults towards people in the crowd who were either not laughing or booing. lol

Bill is one of the funniest humans walking this planet. Dude is NEVER not funny. One of the major reasons I thank my friends for introducing me to Opie & Anthony because I got to know of and hear so much from great comedians
