Outside of his athleticism, there is nothing special about John Morrison. Honestly though, people have said the exact same thing about Shelton Benjamin. Austin just said it on his latest podcast, actually. They're similar cases. I think Shelton was slightly better on the mic and definitely better in the ring.

Hogan should have disappeared from wrestling in 1999.

In the ring he was just ridiculous, way above almost anyone else I can think of. Maybe Angle, HBK or Bret or Owen could do the same things. edit: actually, there are people who could similar things, Regal, Dynamite. But in terms of star power plus that ability Steamboat was absurdly good. Look at this smooth mfer!!

Wasnt bashing him at all love his work in the ring I remeber when I started watching Wwf in 1998 my dad brought out the vcr and I would sit there for hours watching him fly around and that WM 3 match blew my mind and the only reason I said he was underrated is because whenever I watch vids on him people say that he could barely climb the second rope and that Savage carried him through thier fued which made me sick

Roman reigns is awesome (I like all 3 shield members equally, except I like Ambrose a bit more) Nikki bella is the hottest diva currently Not sure if unpopular, but hogan has the worst finisher of all time Santino/sandow are the funniest superstars of the pg era Hardcore title should come out of retirement Jerry lawler is a great commentator Hogan should have 1 more match Punk/rock are the greatest mic talkers Cena can't cut a promo for s**t Undertaker should've stopped after wm 30 Batista should come back again

And WHAT? About people saying Steamboat had to be carried or couldn't climb the ropes, never heard that. I just think of Steamboat/Savage as two tremendous talents giving it their all. The only thing to point out is that Savage planned the WM3 match meticulously on paper and made Steamboat memorize hundreds of steps. He would quiz Steamboat, Savage would call out a number, and Steamboat would respond with what move/step that number corresponded to. Not the same as carrying since they both have their parts, no one is carrying in that match I think it's safe to say. People bash the match and Savage for planning it all out on paper like that but whatever. They'd improv on house shows, Savage would write down which parts worked in each match the best, then add up all those parts, which became the WM3 match. Steamboat himself has said he didn't care for the WM3 match all that much for that reason, was always down on Savage for the planning since that's not how it used to be done. He changed his tune a bit when Savage died and said some very nice things though. Just seems like putting special care and preparation into a special ppv match to me. And it didn't get any more special than WM3. Planning it like that obviously worked, and now wrestlers do that a lot more often, maybe not as much as guys like Savage or DDP though.

I know I couldn't believe the people said that about the dragon I think the video was taken down because of what I said to the people out of anger But the WM match was truly not carrying that match was two GREAT athletes who had passion for there style of how they fought and the matches they had. Savage and Steamboat were the best athletes of their time and That's what I remember Steamboat for and always will but most people say if you didn't win the big one then your nothing to the business which makes me disgusted of what the wrestling fan base has become. Now I've never seen anything from 2007-2011 what drew me back was Punk and when I came back people were bashing Steamboat so that's why I'm saying Steamboat is underrated.

Christian over Edge Edge never really clicked with me Punk was the best heel in YEARS If I hear 'El Generico is with the orphans in Mexico' when they are just saying it to be all like 'I watch roh and know who el generisterio iz am i cool yet' I will kill myself Reigns NEEDS to add more to his move set, literally even RAW he's in a tag match, he gets the hot tag and its just jumping clothesline, basement dropkick, superman punch to everyone, spear, he still sucks BAD As much as i love it, I can't see Balor doing hid entrance 12 times a year for let's say in the next 6 years and it not of gotten old.

Owen was better than Bret in every way. Miz should get a mega-heel push. Edge was a bit overrated. Finn Balor should go heel. Batista was boring.
