I came across the Quittin' Time Ray, Janine, and Slimer figures at TRU today. I'm not in the market for any of them, but they're out there now.

I would love to have that rooftop displayed but like you said, it's massive. It would come down to that or my WWE collection and right now I'm sticking with the WWE. I'll probably still pick up the rest of the DS figures at some point. Hope they go on sale. I can't decide on them still. I really want them but if I get the pieces of the diorama I won't stop till I get all the diorama pieces and that means buying some bullcrap figures like the quitting time figures. I think i'd rather stick with figure only packs but I haven't seen them anywhere and s on ebay are trynna charge like 25$ for them.

Looking at my GB collection, all the figures are pretty similar, so I like getting slimed, marshmallowed, or now, quitting time. Gives them some diversity. I'm doing my best to try to stay away from these but I know at some point I'm going to break down and get them all. Only ones I have bought so far are the SDCC Ray and Peter. And the only figure only packs I have seen was Louis a few times and the two Dana's that have been sitting at my TRU forever.

So finally opened one of these figures up (quittin' time Ray) and I have to say I am somewhat disappointed. I don't know why but for some reason I thought the proton packs were removeable. Completely destroyed it taking it off. Oh well, that's how I wanted to display it, just not what I was expecting.

I saw a review on youtube stating they do come off but you have to get them really hot first. I tried and tore one of the straps. There is a spot that appears quite obviously to be the connect and disconnect point but it seems like they got paint on it or glue or something that keeps it from disconnecting properly

If I ever open my marshmallow Ray & Peter I'll give it a try the 'right' way. I feel like these figures should have had removable accessories.

I was kind of surprised that the Packs were attached.

Well, I think if they need to make any improvement on the line they should start with making the straps on the pack better. They are just too weak and can't really stand up to any pressure. I heated the out of mine. I used extra super hot boiling water and it didnt really do any good. Then I tried a hair dryer but that went over as well as a turd in a punch bowl.

Found the Ghostbusters Minimates 2-packs at TRU.
Two of the sets are the four female 'Busters, but the third set is the one I picked up. It has Stay-Puft and Rowan.
They were $7.49 a piece and were mixed in with the rest of the Ghostbusters stuff.

I picked up zedmore, marshmallow mess venkman and quitting time ray for my son as he's ghostbusters mad at the moment, and I'm super impressed with these figures. I collect WWE elites my self and have never really understood why all the people moan about price ,accessories and qc, until I started looking around at other companies figures . Diamond select figures seem to have way better scans , way better accessories and better price than Mattel elites and DM 's. Iv just ordered the marvel select civil war set as they look awesome! I think diamond select could nail wwe figures!

Plus there's the fact that the figures are much more fragile than the WWE figures Mattel is currently releasing. Diamond figures aren't really meant to be played with.

I haven't experienced the "fragility" with any of mine aside from those bastard straps on the packs. True they really aren't "playing-toys." Some of the scans as said are a little off too. I like them well enough. Better than the cartoony Mattel figures. The Matty figs were great when they started but got increasingly kiddy looking.

Found the new set with slimed Peter, Gozer and Peck at TRU today. Looks like they raised them $1 to $14.99 now.

I bought Gozer and Peter and I know next time I go back I'll pick up Dickless. I am a very weak man when it comes to Ghostbusters.

Yeah Janine is warming pretty hard at all of TRU around me. I feel this new case was only put out for the xmas rush. They had them in the 'adult collector' section and not with the rest of the Ghostbuster stuff.

Series 6 (first wave of GB2) is up for preorder at that one store and the Vigo is siiick, leaps and bounds better than the Mattel offering.
