Tell us how you really feel. Action figures are made for kids, and enjoyed by both kids and adult collectors.

It's talking about his figures warning shelves. Therefore it does involve figures. Ya know, I been sizin' up guys since I came to wrestlingfigs.com. And one guy who stands out the most. A guy who I think has earned the right to be message board police. Skinner911, you're a great poster, a true stickler for message board etiquette, and you're a jam-up guy. Gawd6sic6, who are you to doubt El Dan....er, skinner911? leave me outta this.. more talk about El dandy please.

Tell us how you really feel. Action figures are made for kids, and enjoyed by both kids and adult collectors. Ugh, today's been a tough day. I actually don't have class on Thursdays, but the semester is so grueling that my "off-days" are actually the most stressful because I have to catch up on all my studying. I have two tests on Tuesday so the rest of this week will be pretty intense. Plus, I have this teacher who's all over the place with his powerpoints so my notes for his class are pretty incoherent. The TA's for my other class are having a mock exam tomorrow to help us see where we are preparation wise and I just know I'm going to fail it. Well maybe not, I put a decent amount of study time a few days ago. And I've retained most of it. There's a girl in my class I really like. But I found out from day one that she had a boyfriend. After that, I just kind of forgot about her. Well, apparently they broke up two weeks ago. So now everytime I see her I'm just like man, maybe I should do something. I mean you only live once right? Then again, is it worth making an ass out of myself and blowing any chance of having this person as a friend in my life? But who can really be friends with a girl they like? It's never worked for me before. Someone always ends up wanting more. And even in the few times that it is mutual, it's still scary because you're still putting your friendship on the line. I think I'm going to talk to her tomorrow. With my luck her and her boyfriend are broken up, but not really broken up you know? They dated for a while so I imagine a rekindling is imminent. I guess my feelings are mostly dominated by those two situations. Well those and my growing obsession with Baskin Robbins. There's one right down the street and I really need to stop going. It's gotten to the point where all the people there know me and they start making my usual (two scoops of chocolate) the moment I walk in. Haha it was really funny the other day I walked in and was like "1 scoop of Vanilla" and they all like freaked out. One girl there is actually pretty cute. But she's like 17. I mean technically that's legal in my state, but it would still be weird. Then again, she could probably get me a killer discount on their ice cream cakes. Might have to rethink that one, especially if the girl from my class (who broke up with her bf) doesn't work out. Anyways thanks for asking man! And yeah you're right kids enjoy figures too. My nephew is 8 and loves Rey Mysterio.

My only problem with the Rey figures was that, apart from the odd exception, they all just looked the same - except a different colour. Couple that with the fact that they were usually packed most in a case (so the shelves were always full of them) and it drove us collectors crazy, lol.
The only Rey's I would still be interested in are his Captain America look (from WM27) and his Joker look (from WM25).

Glad to see the back of him figure wise, but wrestling wise this is sad news. Yup, Yup, Yup.... Nice looking figs most of the time, but I don't really need more.

Just got the Flash Mysterio figure in the post yesterday funnily enough. It's a shame as he gave us some great memories. Hopefully he's happy now! Thank you Rey!

I'm in agreement that less Mysterio wont mean more "first time in the line" figures or anything like that. Pretty much every set is guaranteed to have at least a stinker or 2 no matter what.

He'll be back for his Hall of Fame induction and retirement match at Wrestlemania. Maybe then we can finally get a Filthy Animals Mask-less Rey!!!

It's official. Rey Mysterio is no longer under contract with WWE. He's done folks. So now only one question remains... Is this it? Is this the day we are all finally free from the Luchadorus virus (thank you) that has plagued the figure shelves since the dawn of the Mattel era? Are we finally free from losing a spot in every other Elite line to a a guy that's only included because he can placate an abundance of 5 year olds who cry and soil their pants until Mommy can take them to the store and buy the new "way mistee wee yoh" ?? If this is indeed the end... Good ing riddance. I dont mind Rey figures. I wont go and buy every figure but at least they didnt peg warm as bad in my area. Also if Mattel forced me to buy Rey after Rey, at least I know the Rey will have a different outfit on. Unlike Cena, who will always be in Jean Shorts, or Camo shorts, or Tan shorts. Or Orton who has little to no variation to his look. Or Bryan. These figures get made often, they peg warm, and they all look almost identical.

I'm not a big fan of Rey but I'm devastating how he left, he should have had one last match at Mania especially how popular he was. I started watching 2004 and saw guys like him Batista, Cena and others rise to the top. I remember watching the 2006 Rumble and thinking the impact that he had and know he just gone without one last match or goodbye to us fans. Rey also always had different, colourful and nice attires on his figures. Bye Rey have a nice life!
