I don't have one myself, but I'm 99% sure they are called 'DETOLF'
I know because I am eyeing a couple up for myself one day soon!

The glass o rs are Detolf, but, I use Billy, it's white and wooden, I have bought the doors for it too. It's easier to add to in my opinion. But if you collect loose then Detolf is defo the way to go, not so good for MOC Collections imo

They're called Detolf. They come in a few different colors like black, brown and white. You can also purchase a light that fits in on the top and shines down on whatever you're displaying inside. I, along with a couple users here on the boards also purchased LED light strips from Ikea for around $40 or so that are remote controlled, super bright, don't heat up and can be changed into dozens of different colors.
Good luck!

Not meaning to hijack simba's thread, but how big are the boxes a Detolf shelf comes in? The closest IKEA to me is a couple hours away and I own a 2000 Buick LeSabre. The trunk is pretty big (and I could pull the backseat down), but I'm afraid of making the drive and then not being able to fit them in my car. You guys think a few Detolf shelf boxes would fit?

They come in pieces. You just need to know the longest piece, the box will be thin as it doesn't come out together. You need roughly 5-5.5 feet in length and 2 foot in width

I have one I haven't put together yet. I measured the box and it is 64' long and 15.5' wide. Comes in two boxes.

Yeah. Comes in two, long flat boxes, and both are really heavy! Very easy to fix though!

I would also suggest a nice heavy blanket or some pillows and avoiding bumpy roads if you're transporting those boxes in something other than a truck where you can lay them completely flat. It's gotten better since they changed it to 2 boxes, but I had some friends transport those in the back of a car and it was easy to crack the glass. Once it's put together there's usually no issues though.

I'm really looking into these too. How many figures can comfortably fit on a single shelf?
