I feel like you aren't watching NXT at all. Becky doesn't skip. Charlotte does look 44 and the family lineage is why she was signed, but she has improved dramatically in just her two years of working. Blue Pants is not meant to be taken seriously but Leva Bates can work. Natalya's a main eventer? So what if Alexa looks like a princess? She can go. Where in god's name do you get Becky and Bayley having Santino gimmicks? Look, if your purpose is to troll then do it right. If your purpose is to bash NXT, that's fine, you don't have to love it, but at least get what you say about it right. I meant on the main roster, not main eventer. Bayley has a comedy gimmick. Childish. Cartoony. Just like Santino No. No not at all. Seriously, watch the show.

I love Bayley, don't get me wrong, but I also loved Emma, and look what happened to her. Santino style gimmicks aren't over for real. Becky totally skips. And yeah, I base them off looks because that's what WWE has done, does do, and will do for a long time, so nothing's going to change. Alexa looks like what my girlfriend dresses up as when she role plays for me, and I'm not going to take it serious for a second. Bayley will more than likely never get the WWE Divas Championship unless something dramatic happens or her gimmick changes. Becky is just... No. Carmella, I don't even know, you say she sucks, I'll take that. Charlotte looks like a fit 40 year old who's finisher is a weak version of the RKO. Dana Brooke hasn't been on NXT yet. Sasha, like I said, her thing is to quote a parody music video from like 5 years ago and she looks like a fish. I'm very unimpressed by the direction of the NXT Diva Division. I'm sorry. I want to be impressed, but they're not actually trying with them. I don't look at it from and NXT standpoint, I look at it from a main roster standpoint, because that's what we're suppose to do. NXT is nothing more than developmental, and everyone looks at it as a weekly wrestlemania that's higher than the main roster. I'm pretty sure you don't watch the show. I stopped reading when you said you base them on looks. Start judging them on how they perform. Then we can have a conversation. You have the exact same mindset as the casual fan towards the divas and THAT is why the division isn't where it could be. Awe, bud, you think Vince McMahon is going to change the way he sees women because how some guys on the internet see them?

So much wrong with this. Where to begin. 1) They use a rotation of about six girls. Charlotte, Bayley, Becky, Sasha, Carmella, Alexa and now Emma. 2) Bayley's gimmick is super over and not just with the weekly Full Sail crowd. On the live events she's the most over person on the roster, rivaling Sami Zayn in some places from reports. 3) Charlotte or Sasha not doing anything on the main roster has ZERO to do with how good they are. The fact that the main roster books girls terribly doesn't make them any less. 4) Two things about the Emma statement. One is that Emma is damn good and again, her use on the main roster doesn't take away from that. And two, Emma's gimmick was the kind that is hard to get over on the main roster, so it's partly that. 5) The girls in NXT are all very talented, with the exception of Carmella. You can be the best wrestler in the world, but it doesn't f*cking matter if you can't do anything on the main roster. In case you forgot, the MAIN roster is called MAIN for a reason. It's the big leagues, it's what they're trying to be on. Nobody denied that. What we're saying is that the girls are good and the division is great. If the WWE books them poorly on the main roster, it's not that they can't make it there, it's just that they're booked poorly. The girls are good. You're also talking out of your ass on some things since Becky hasn't had the dancing/skipping gimmick for MONTHS and she only used it for about three weeks. Please, know your stuff before you speak. It makes you look bad.

I watched the big NXT shows to see what all the hype is about, and I wasn't impressed at all.
It still looks like a WWE show under an NXT banner.
I think wrestling fans are so desperate to be a fan of something that they feel NXT is amazing, when it's really nothing special - at least in my eyes.

I have seen great matches in ROH, I have seen solid story lines in ECW, I have seen great wrestling in TNA years ago, I have seen great story lines on Raw and Smackdown. To me, NXT is just WWE still with a different look. Fans want to so badly think it's amazing and special, but as soon as those guys get called up to Raw and Smackdown, they will be in Vinnie's hands. Look at Bo Dallas and Adam Rose for example. Rusev is the only guy who has done something, but it took having a hot mouth piece like Lana to get him there.

Banks doesn't have "it"? Do you even watch NXT? Bayley, like Kev stated, is super over with the live audiences too, people can relate to her gimmick and want to like her, it's very easy to root for Bayley. Becky doesn't skip. Alexa and Charlotte you're judging on looks alone, which is exactly what's wrong with the main roster divas division. People want to focus on looks and nothing else, which is just plain wrong. Carmella...you don't need to know her name. She does suck. NXT Diva division is what the main roster division should be. I love Bayley, don't get me wrong, but I also loved Emma, and look what happened to her. Santino style gimmicks aren't over for real. Becky totally skips. And yeah, I base them off looks because that's what WWE has done, does do, and will do for a long time, so nothing's going to change. Nobody will give you a hard time for having a different opinion. However, I feel like you don't even regularly watch the show. Do you watch NXT weekly? Do you watch NXT Takeover events? Did you see the Fatal 4 Way Women's title match at Rival? Do you even lift? Also, not sure why you keep bringing up the main roster. We aren't talking about the main roster. We are talking about NXT. The main roster could screw up a wet dream. I've seen them do it. Lots of times,

Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns haven't done much either. Fair enough, but they were also FCW guys too. I just personally don't see the hype in NXT. I watched the last two shows, with Sami winning the belt and then him losing the belt, and the card didn't impress me. The only guy I dig there is Tyler Breeze. He seems cool. But to each their own right?? I know some people love TNA and others hate it. Same with ROH, and even WWE Raw and Smackdown. NXT is good, I just don't think it's as great as wrestling fans want it to be.

NXT is good, I won't ever say it's not. Like I said before, I just don't see the hype in it. I blame it on maybe that I have been watching wrestling since 1985 and I have seen so many matches, federations, story lines and such that it's hard for me to be really impressed anymore. But NXT is good, and I hope it keeps doing what it's doing. I just don't see the hype is all.

Comparing NXT to Raw is like comparing Dudley Dursley to Harry Potter at the beginning of the first book.
NXT to Raw: "Get back in your little closet under the staircase you little bitch."

NXT is incredible and deserves high praise i'd say it is in the top three promotions in the world right now 1.NJPW 2.Lucha Underground 3.NXT
I do agree that the tag division is piss poor, which is why NXT is number 3 for me at least. Its ridiculous The American Wolves weren't taken because they have "too many guys that size" when the tag division is bare bones. Owens, Zayn, Balor, Neville and Itami should be pushed over every homegrown talent, except maybe Breeze and Corbin. No one else is nearly as entertaining as those 5, and I'm a fan of Bull, Corbin and Breeze

I'm gonna say this, WWE dont know how to build a star anymore. NXT doesnt build stars, you get guys like Zayne, Owens, Balor, Itami, Neville, who come in with their own fan base, before going on to the main roster. I think NXT is a testing ground to see if their fan base's will convert well into WWE's main programming.

I think NXT is a testing ground to see if their fan base's will convert well into WWE's main programming. I don't think that's true at all. The casual fan will have no idea who Balor, Zayn or Owens is before they enter NXT. Yes, the hardcore fans will, but that's such a minority. They built Rollins, Ambrose and Reigns from the ground up with The Shield. Daniel Bryan got himself over, but instead of completely ignoring the fans, they built him up to his first World Championship (before the Yes Movement really took off). Rusev is getting good reactions too. Balor literally just needs one of his big show entrances and the fans will devour it and he'll be a huge star. Point being, while each guy does bring their own fanbase, it's not nearly as big as you would think and NXT is not the place to test that. NXT is a group of hardcore wrestling fans. They know each new guy that's coming in. The casual WWE fan has no idea. We have people on this forum even who had no idea who Ambrose or Rollins were before NXT, or at least hadn't seen them to that point and became huge fans. WWE is still capable of making stars.

I've watched the first few episodes of NXT and I never really payed much attention to it. I've watched all the big events, but I do admit to skipping some parts because it doesn't seem as interesting. But for the most, I'd say it's pretty good.
