Very sad news to hear. Grew up watching the Star Trek films and shows with my Dad and would always watch the films whenever I saw it on TV. Though he was slightly older than he was, but he still lived to a good age, even with his health problems in his later years.
RIP Spock.

R.I.P Leonard Nimoy.
Just heard via Facebook - very sad to hear about this...by no means was I a huge Trekkie, but my Dad was, and slong with wrestling and heavy metal it was something I loved since childhood...
Such a great man...never forgotten....

Another huge piece of childhood gone. Im a huge Original series fan. Terrible news that ruined an otherwise ok day. RIP Mr Nimoy.....looks like Wrath of Khan will be more impactful than ever the next time i pop it in.

I wasn't a Star Trek fan, but I thought his narration over the episodes of "In Search Of..." gave it a scary, spooky vibe.
And I hope this cheers some people up. Leonard Nimoy's "Bilbo Baggins" song:

Man no just no. Vulcans are supposed to live to 200 years. RIP... he's a legend.
He explains how he came up with the Vulcan Salute in this video:
And a classic episode of "In Seach Of":

How the hell did Shatner out live Nimoy? Smoked for 30 years and stopped in his 50s and its basically the disease that killed him as he had horrible breathing issues as a result , RIP Spock ! also liked him in the "in search Of " tv series .

I am pretty late to this (not the first I am hearing of it though) but I wanted to say RIP to a true legend.

Man, I used to love watching that show, "In Search Of."
That show fueled my love for Bigfoot, Loch Ness, and UFOs as a kid.
His episode on, "Columbo", was also one of the best.
Oh yeah, and he directed, "3 Men and a Baby", everyone's favorite Ted Danson project other than "Cheers."
