I think this one will be marked down big time eventually in some ringside sale (maybe Black Friday)

Awesome... love the new scan - and the USA packaging should be great too. why on earth did they not put a clasp on these hogan shirtts...WHY!!!!!! Just put a piece of tape on the inside, holding the sides together... works wonders! Wish I'd thought of that! Looks great!

its a cool figure but absolutely does not warrant a $28 price tag if it's just that figure with the awful "ripped" shirt. That shirt was a cool idea to use with DM Hogan but the execution just doesn't work...first off the shirt looks silly with this line down the middle, secondly you can't even put the sides in his hands and have him hold it open! So in the end it just looks like an unfinished product.
and I'm accepting the fact that the days of getting those amazing cloth shirts are less and less now...
but I don't really identify THAT look of Hogan with a ripping shirt. Strange choice to be honest. If there isn't a belt with this figure and it really is released as we saw it there it's going to bomb pretty bad. RSC will sell through them eventually but not anywhere near the full price they usually charge for exclusives.
I don't even care if they re-release the belt that came with the DM Hogan...there needs to be more incentive to buy a Hogan like that than just a crappy rubber shirt with a split down the middle that you cant even really use.

It could still come w/ a belt. This is pretty early to reveal their summer exclusive. Normally they reveal the figure in April, not february. To me i don't mind the RSC exclusive prices....because a lot of the value is in getting a figure that wouldn't normally be made. It seems fair to pay a premium price for a figure that is only sold online, made in limited quantity and might be something that Mattel isn't going to release at retail. That said i didn't buy any of the 2014 figures because i didn't like the way the final products turned out. But this years HBK & Hulk look like must buys for me

my only problem with the ringside exclusives is they are priced more than the Defining moments line. In the defining moments line we are getting some decent accessories. the hbk comes with jacket/glasses and hogan as of now comes with shirt and headband. To me thats nothing more than a elite figure. As for saying it wouldnt be released at retail, These could of easily been put into the hall of fame line. the Hbk would of sold extremely well.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the ripped shirt. It was a good idea in theory, and the execution wasn't bad, but I don't want to see anymore of them.
However, if they put the 'rip' down the back, we would have a nice, clean, better fitting look from the front. I'd rather have a 'rip' down the back than the side clasps they use on the other shirts. I at least hope MDT does that for Rollins entrance shirt.

But not this new Hogan. Not SES CM Punk. Not the ECW CM Punk. Not WM 13 Rock. Maybe they release the RSC Austin in the HOF line, instead of the awesome one w/ the jorts. Maybe WM 8 HBK gets put in HOF series 2 and Tito Santana never gets made. Foleys contract ran out so dang quick, they never even got to Dude Love. If RSC didn't make the Cactus Jack figure we either wouldn't have gotten one. Or maybe we would've gotten the Cactus, but no debut Mankind.

I love this hogan but it's a slightly new scan with less accessories than the DM and it will cost more. He needs at least one more accessory for a fig that will cost $26.99 + shipping.

My must have Hogans were WM 3, an early 90's Hulk Rules, nWo, and a 2002 Hulk Still Rules. Anything else would just be gravy. Definitely didn't expect this version from Mattel or RSC. Not sure if this is a huge need for me. Really kind of depends on if they can make that belt or not. As is, it's a tough sell for me when there is so much other amazing stuff coming out.

Really not a fan of this. I was expecting something cooler. Count me in wanting Jericho still.

I was hoping for an exclusive hollywood Hogan could've been one of the better exclusives made, or should have been Jericho with both belts the night he beat the rock and Austin to become undisputed champion

its obviously going to be the mailbag Lol I figured, I'm just bored haha knowing my luck, if they use any of my questions....it will be the crappy ones that have already been answered since Toy con. such as getting more Rey figures [he was released like a day after i asked]. And if Mattel had the rights to the No Holds Barred movie [2 days later RSC HOgan is revealed and is wearing the same attire from that movie]
