Perhaps someone can remind me, but why did they release Morrison? They just didn't renew his contract. I think he wanted to pursue acting too.

I'd love Morrison back. His match against Prince Puma at Lucha Underground was not bad IMO. I think keeping him at NXT would be better where he would have talent like Balor/Neville to work with, rather than jobbing everyweek to New Day/BNB

I would LOVE it if Morrison, McCool, Victoria, and Shelton came back to NXT and or the main roster. The women would be better suited in NXT because they give a about the division and to a slightly lesser degree same for the men although I think they could do equally as well in the mid card divisions if they stop making the IC Champion look so damn weak. As for the others listed they would be good I guess but the four I singled out are four of the people I would most want back in WWE atm.

I'd like to see Tajiri on WWE tv again just to see his backstage segments with Regal.

I find it funny that they put Carlito on the list. McCool should never step foot in a ring again since she was just unbearable to watch.

Vader in a squash match against Bull (Sh*t) Dempsey would blow my mind.

Especially since looking back now she was clearly a step above in the ring than many of the divas back in her day and probably belongs in a group of some of the most purely athletic and aggressive female wrestlers in a long time. Never understood the heat she got from the IWC and felt it really undeserved and silly. From mid 2007- onward she practically NEVER had a bad match.
Would love to see both McCool and Victoria back. They tore it up every match they had together.
Morrison and Albert.. No. Albert's probably been re-tooled enough as it is now. I would LOVE to see Shelton and Tajiri however.

Tajiri & Morrison are the only two I wouldn't mind seeing from that list. Throw Shane Helms in there too. Gregory Helms, Sugar Shane Helms, or just bring back 3 Count ?

Because to my memory, she was full blown shoved down our throats. Not sure about specifics but I went off her completely during her forced title push. She was a good worker physically, but she didn't connect with the audience past the announcers consistently putting her over. No natural charisma, and she was pushed out of nowhere. Her best run came as part of Lay-cool. She really came out of her shell and grew as a on screen personality with Layla.

Her best run came as part of Lay-cool. She really came out of her shell and grew as a on screen personality with Layla. I agree to an extend about coming out of her shell. I think one of the things that worked against her in promos was her thick thick southern accent and earlier on she seemed to try to hide it and her talking seemed stilted as a result. When she turned heel she seemed to let it go and embraced it. As a result it made her seem much more smooth and worked with her heel persona. However, I never saw that as a reason to hate her and it wasn't something she could control. Judging by how horrible many of the divas were on the mic (Maryse couldn't even speak English) her ring performances more than made up for it.
I think timing was something that always hurt Michelle. I can remember in 2006 and early 2007 many forums I frequented were so eager to see her in the ring and get a push due to her athleticism and work she'd done in Deep South. She improved huge in 2007 and started getting that push and unfortunately... it was the same time people found out she was dating the Undertaker. Conclusions were made and some just snap judged her and never let her rise above that typecast when I really did think once she got past the silly American girl/Lovin Life promos, the bitchy southern heel totally worked for her and she just killed it. Actually felt she left too early and could have taken it further. It's easy to continue the "no connection" or "pushed down our throats" because that's what everyone just says. However, with this whole #givedivasachance I've been motivated to re-watch 2005-2012 divas matches and promos and that was an AMAZING time for the division. I don't think Michelle was pushed down our throats because you can really see going back and watching it how she improved and just got better and better every match she was in. She really did deserve to be one of the top divas IMO. I will agree to disagree with that she didn't make a connection. I can remember being in the crowd for more than one show where the reception when she came out for her was huge, both on the heel and face side.
I miss those days though. WWE really does need to #givedivasachance

I was JoMo back if only for selfish reasons. You were JoMo, Bash? But seriously, Tajiri and Victoria. Do it.

to me personally: her last heel run teaming with Layla (not Layla, just Michelle) can be summed up in 3 words: crapty. cheap. heat

For whatever reason, McCool has a lot of haters yet she was one of the most consistent women able to have awesome matches with everyone she worked with (Victoria/Mickie/Melina/Beth/Natalya/Gail/Trish etc). The list I made includes some of the best women workers in the last 15 years yet she gets a really bad rap... What can you do but just say: hater gonna hate?!
