Take a look at these pics from dean ambrose's recent 2-pack, elite, and now his recent signature series basic. This has me scratching my head, because if he is 6 ft 4 in scale with his elite and 2-pack figure he is much shorter in his basic figure.

Old news. Everyone who has gotten that figure over the last few weeks have commented about that.

The elite better not be like that.

Yeah it sucks. I pre-ordered him and was very disappointed when I finally got him. Luckily enough Mattel made a new jean mold for B51 Ambrose so his height appears to be fixed...

I hadn't seen that comparison before so no idea why anyone would call you out like that. Some people have lives outside these boards. Great pic and even better comment about the "2-3 figures I bought today" haha. Way too many of those crappy threads lately. This is actually valuable info. Thanks for posting

Good comparison shot. To my knowledge, despite hearing the complaints, I had not seen a pic for it yet. The basic 51 figure appears to have a new jeans mold, that is not only slimmer but possibly taller as well. I reckon the height bothers me less than the jeans being so damn baggy.

People had mentioned this but I don't think there was a comparison pic, I think someone posted with the ripped off Hunico figure

This might be the worst figure Mattel has ever done. Worst than that terrible Morrison, the stupid Rey scan and Jinder Punk.

I wanted a new Ambrose, but I didn't bother to buy this one when I saw it at Walmart.

It was probably just meant to be a stop gap figure until an updated Dean could be designed and produced.

Mattel has admitted that this figure was rushed and included the closest existing parts that they had. It is not accurate height at all.

Wow that's kinda silly. So which figure of the three is actually at the correct scale? Perhaps compare it to some other Mattel figures who are supposed to be 6'4"

Mattel used the same pants for Dean, Seth, and Roman, so they I'd imagine that's why Shield Ambrose is a little taller.
