Why can't they make a ring set for collectors? Do collectors really buy the kids rings? Don't most of them get the ASR or ESR? I've got a ton of basic rings. Bought a Raw and Smackdown one when I first started collecting Mattel, which was after the ESR was hundreds of dollars on eBay. Needed a ring and my RSR was on the other side of the country at my parents' house. Then TRU started releasing new PPV-themed playsets, which I bought (Money in the Bank and Hell in the Cell). Then they released the newer Ringside Battle Playset. Needed two of those for the announce tables and to make a barricade big enough to fit my ASR. I now have two ASRs, my RSR (which I have since brought back from my parents' house), and will probably get both the new ASRs. To sum it up, I have a ton of rings, the basics are just taking up space in a closet at this point. Hope they release a ASR Hell in the Cell, because my basic one doesn't come out of the closet anymore.

We haven't even gotten a classic WWF set yet (from Mattel), which is FAR more likely. There is no way they'd skip that in favor of WCW.
With that being said, I would love a Nitro era entrance stage. But honestly I would be very pleased to get some ropes, mats and ring skirts that'll fit the ASR. I don't care if the ASR is WWF scale and not WCW scale. I never even noticed a difference really until someone brought it up a few years ago.

The only thing I could see happening is a WCW Spring ring thing. Other than that we're probably out of luck.

I just don't understand why they would make so many WCW figures if wcw product "doesn't sell". Their stages and backstage areas sell nicely. I buy this stuff for my kid, or so he thinks lol, and have an epic good ol fashion battle royal. I made him an arena, or at least he thinks it's for him , and go ham on the entrance break away floors and Bubba ray dudley style power bomb off onto a table.. Ok I got off track. Point is, WCW stage would sell. I mean hell, they're already running out of ideas.. they have build your own deformed ring with spider legs...
